Not as easy as plug in and it works but its not that hard.
I've used my eyetoy as a webcam since I got it and it works great, in fact when a friend asked me what webcam to buy I told him to buy the eyetoy, he got it with the game and sold the game on ebay to claim a bit of cash back making it even cheaper!Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -
Hi there- I was talking to my (13 yr old) son about webcams-and he thinks ours is pretty good so I thought I would tell you about it- it's actually a Kodak EZ200 digital camera that I bought for my hubby ages ago- rubbish as a camera as has no viewing screen (although a good cheap option for kids to take on school trips) but great as a webcam- easy peasy to install and often cheap as chips on ebay! One drawback though- no sound on them, (not a problem for us as the computer is in a shared part of the house and it's intrusion enough to find myself on webcam unexpectedly- do not want to be heard ranting at kids about mess/homework/mess)
Hope this is useful to someone0 -
Are these webcam work with Windows Vista? I have trouble to find a cheap but reasonable quality one. Please help. Thx0

Help please,
can anyone recommend a webcam for use on an iMac. The iSight is no longer available in the EU due to new EU disposal of hazardous waste regulations, it was too expensive anyway. I cannot find another one that is compatible and supported.
Cheers. No reliance should be placed on the above.0 -
Not many people know this, but Amazon has a price drop policy. If they lower the price on something that youve purchased within the past 30 days, theyll issue a credit (although you have to ask for it).
If you want to check if any of your purchases are eligible for a refund, just follow these simple steps:
1. Visit Your Account and look at all invoices from the past thirty days.
2. Click on the item names to pull up the current item description/price and compare to the price that you paid.
3. If you paid more than the current price, copy down the order number and go to the Return and Refunds Contact Form page.
4. Select Refund Inquiry as your subject, and check off the order(s) of interest. If you dont see the order in question listed, enter the order number in the Other field.
5. State in the comments that the price dropped, and that you want to be credited for the difference. It might help to mention the item name as well as old and new price, but Im not sure that this is necessary.
The Returns and Refunds Form mentioned above can be found at: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/contact-us/returns-and-refunds.html0 -
