Most people tend to forget this but you could save a whole bunch of ££££ if you have a look at the manual that comes with your digital camera.
There's a good possibility that it can be used as a webcam.;)
So instead of your camera just coming out for birthdays, christmas, and weddings you could utilise it all year round.
My old Fuji F601 had this function so I'm sure that many others do
Unfortunately my new Fuji F31fd can't do it :-( (Other than that fantastic little cam though!)
Hope that's useful0 -
Has the eye toy got a microphone???I save so I can spend.0

Hello there - my local Argos In Sheffield has 2 types of MIKOMI webcam - one with a mic for £8.99 & one with a mic & digital zoom for £12.99. Im not sure why you would really want a digital zoom - in my experience, you are normally too close anyway!!0

I still dont know which cam to buy!

Hi, can anyone help me?
I downloaded the drivers to use my PS2 Eyetoy as a webcam.
All was working fine until I had a problem with my computer, so I used the rollback feature.
Now the Eyetoy won't work!
I've tried all the Uninstall, rollback drivers, update and stuff in the help and troublshooting directories, but with no luck. It just keeps saying no drivers installed, it won't recognise the webcam and then says it can't find any better drivers than I've already got!
Can anyone sort this out for me?
PM me if you wish, or post it here.
