Ionafan, oh, you poor thing.:( I've had plenty of migraines in my time, so I totally sympathise. Well, as you've taken the trouble to give me a push, despite feeling rotten yourself, I'm heading kitchenwards.;) Just declutter the wretched migraine, that can be your flying for today.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

Was back from the supermarket by 10 this morning, we are having some friends over for lunch tomorrow so I am getting organised as I am working until late in the evening at the moment and I didn't want to go shopping in the morning. Since getting back I have baked 2 malt loaves and 1 date and walnut loaf and done far too much washing up. Waiting for the date and walnut one to finish in the oven and then will put my lunch in. The oven isn't quite sure what has happened, in the last week I have baked 2 victoria sponges, 2 malt loaves and 2 date and walnut loaves! I am glad it hasn't all been for us or we would be the size of a house.
Now to see if I can cross anything off my list,

Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Thanks for the wave Mummyof5 - must be why I was pondering if I would ever meet a Flylady yesterday!
Glad to hear MrLW is on the mend. Another one here who is going to say return to work interviews are standard - think of them as a way of making sure useless bosses are made to notice that certain of their staff are only ever ill on a Monday.
Glad to see you GS is getting better Pigpen.
Bit belated Honeybear, but that is very naughty of your guests. I always feel so responsible about leaving holiday let acommodation neat and tiday - and cleaner than my own home is probably.
Sorry if I've missed out anything significant - I'm a bit rubbish at the moment.
Flying intentions are very good at the moment, but I run out of steam quicker than my list goes down, and not even getting on the PC as usual. Back at the Drs on Monday, but am stressing already that he will send me back to work.
Anyway. I did manage a visit to Mr T this morning - and with vouchers and multibuys managed to save a third off my total bill, so feeling MSE at the moment - however I think it's time I actually put it away. And I'll see if I can do some Friday jobs after that. Need to do some catching up over the weekend though.Work is not my Hobby0 -
It's been a better day than expected weather wise so have managed to get a load of towels dried on the line. We shouldn't be needing to say that in the 'summer'!
Not done much else today as I had to declutter a couple of hours at the hospital. Having to go twice a week at the moment - it really eats up the day.0 -
Wouldn't cherries be better?

Thanks for that Mrs B. The majority of people leave everything absolutely spick and span, which I truly appreciate. It was the fact that I had to do eight towels over and over again that really got me down. It probably had something to do with the weather which was very changeable, and some thoughtlessness. Knowing that other Flyladies sympathised meant I didn't feel like the landlady from hell, which helped.
I hope you feel better soon.
Welcome Fishies. I've only been Flying for three weeks, but the difference is amazing. It's taken me 19 years to realise I need help with the housekeeping, and this is the perfect place to find it.
Hugs to Samuel and his mother, Pigpen. He looks as though he's on the mend, thank goodness.
GWS Ionafan.
I Flew like a mad thing yesterday, hoovering bottom to top doing rooms and the stairs on the way back down, having first decluttered a wig's worth of hair from the Dy$on's pick up rollers. That made quite a difference to its performance !
For the first time in a very long time I am taking a three day weekend staycation. OH is away for a few days, there is no need for any Flying on Saturday or Sunday which is unheard of in the Honey Bear House, so I'm catching up on blogs, threads and chocolate quality control. Bliss.Better is good enough.0 -

PROFESSIONALS when you read this;))
Every year, weather permitting, we take all the kids out on a l-o-n-g walk then we have a picnic.
Last year I had [STRIKE]collapsed in a heap[/STRIKE]finished my walk and was sitting daintily on a blanket. The old feet were somewhat warm so I took off my hiking boots. Anyway I had to go back across the road, to work, so popped the boots back on to find something in my right boot. Tipped up the boot to find it was full of cherry stones - and looked up to see three of my colleagues holding each othe rup and laughing hysterically. One of my colleagues had had some cherries and had been at a loss what to do with the stones...

not much in the way of list flying done here today my uncle turned up at 12.30:eek: my LR is papered and looks lovely I'm really pleased:D:j He made a start filling in the holes in the hall too and he will finish it all (big job) when he gets back from his jollies when he will paper and paint for me too:j (its only been like that for 3yrs plus since I hate asking him as he won't take any payment for doing it) I have nearly got the LR to how I want it after my furnature rearranging and it needs a hoover, I will hang my pictures back up at some point tomorrow (when I say I actually I mean OH:rotfl:)
