DD2 has sobbed her way home with her results - BCDD. I think she's done really well given how unwell she was when she did them....
Hopefully she will calm down later... I am perfectly happy for her to resit if she wants to, and I will pay for a tutor to help her ( school have washed their hands of them now....):jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

She has done brilliantly:j:T:T:j but kids don't always see it the way we do. Hugs for her there is so much pressure on our young people to do well its really not fair. When my DS1 was doing his exams there I felt he was at a disadvantage because he had about 8 months off school after his 2 accidents and that sticks more pressure on them.I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged0 -

I didn't get time to do any flying in my home yesterday as I spent a LOT of time at work trying to get on top of things there. I had a very productive 3 hours in the morning then later went through all the old emails which took me about an hour. Will definately be doing the same next Wednesday and maybe a bit tomorrow morning, it is so quiet there are no distractions.
Right my list, not too much to do there. Need to check I have the ingredients to bake, trying date and walnut loaf for the first time.

I've got DS1s results but he's not seen them yet so I wont share other than to say he's not going to be jumping for joy but I think will be in the end be realistic about effort put in and results which came out.
CY I hope your DD calms down in the days ahead, it's hard
DS2 got his Additional Maths results (it's sort of between GCSE and AS) and he got an A so is pleased, he worked hard for it and deserves it.
