by that logic you should be sticking to tap water0 -
I wonder if Evian think we are naivE by paying so much for a bottle or rain.I think the surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us.0

If that's what you're looking (you should have said that from the outset) for then that's not going to be possible - after all none of us were there, only you, and if you can't figure it out then I'm afraid I'd recommend you give up trying now, save the effort tbh.0 -
Please just write to Tesco. Ask them for some restitution and ask them for your escalation route should they refuse.
It doesn't matter what people on here think, you know the situation and you feel aggrieved so don't bottle it up (ha ha) just write.
i wouldn't bother with going to your local store they will just laugh it off. (unless you but another bottle of it and open it up near their CS desk - but you shouldn't do that)I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine0 -
Just put it down to your sparking personality!0

No harm in writing to tesco, wouldnt cost much, state the details on the item, you never know they could have had other complaints which led them to do an investigation at the plant. Dont get your hopes up about what to expect in return or even a reply.0

This is fantastic!
When the Mrs was a student all kinds of liquids (usually with alcohol in them) got all over her stuff. She had a pretty big room too.
I arent an expert but perhaps just get in touch with Tesco and explain the situation. Once they stop laughing then explain you are serious. I dont think they will really do much, but they dont like bad press so might offer you a store card with a fiver on perhaps?
Good luck!
PS. Record your phone call to Tesco. Not as evidence, but for a laugh. You obviously can see the funny side so may be good to look back on. But really, I arent taking the mick, I hope you get somewhere!0 -
I agree with most of the above. You lack any kind of proof and that huge warning on the side is a bit of a giveaway.
No harm in writing a letter, you may give someone in Tesco CS a smile.Thinking critically since 1996....0
