I got a full refund on checking out.
  • We got a refund for one night where drugs fell out of the hem of the curtain in our family room. Have stayed in premier inn loads of times previously and never had a problem.
Baby Thomas born 3 months early by emergency section on 21/1/09 weighing 1lb 15ozs .
Thomas came home after 3 months and 2 days in hospital weighing 5lb 15ozs
    Thomas weighed 21lb 4ozs on his 1st birthday , a total weight gain of 18lbs 5ozs !
  • Well all the staff I have met in the premier inns I have stayed in have been very nice and very professional. Suppose they are glad they don't have to put up with guests like you.

I've been refunded twice. Once in London because they put me in a room that was painted the previous day, and even though I slept with the windows open I woke with such an awful headache that I couldn't face coffee, never mind breakfast.

The other time we were staying somewhere for a big running event. The hotel's website mentioned that there were lots of clubs and pubs within a few doors but failed to mention that there was a Sunday market which began setting up at 5am. The sound of scaffolding poles being bashed together made it sound like the hotel was falling down!!

Faith is the denial of observation, so that belief can be preserved.

Had money back a couple of years ago now when a bunch of football fans were staying in the same hotel and proceeded to sing Newcastle (thus totally offending my footballing sensibilities as well) songs in the corridors at 1am - hadn't pushed for the refund, just had commented on checkout that "hope the livewires haven't been too bad for you all" and got a refund offered straight off!

The mattresses are perfect for me, I hate saggy beds but they use the same mattresses everywhere so maybe book somewhere else next time.

Not sure they do to be honest. I stayed at one in East Kilbride when I went to a cousin's wedding and the mattress was lush, it was soft and when I laid on it it was like getting a hug from the bed :D

But then when i stayed at the one next to the London Eye last year the bed was hard in comparison. Still, i was so tired that night it didn't stop me sleeping.

I got a refund at the PI near the Humber Bridge without even asking, or expecting one.
When my friend and I were checking out, we got asked if everything was alright. I said that the heating in our room wasn't working and we had been up half the night inputting some reports on our laptops but we had been so cold that we had to sit in our coats. The staff member immediately said that they would give us a refund which they did there and then. Great service.

I have had 4 refunds from Premier Inn.

    1. TV would'nt work and they couldn't fix or move us (Hotel was Full).Lowestoft

    2. Football supporters banging on doors/slamming, Plymouth

3.Water Dripping from scaffolding,(Building work) Newport IOW

4.Got back from Day out and Room not made up. Southampton

All refunds were given without any quibble.

I used to use Travelodge years ago, but now I will only use Premier Inn, they are much more customer freindly, the Staff are always v/helpful and their rooms are so much better than Travelodge.

    Debt-free and Proud!
Never had a problem with the guarantee, been offered it without asking several times either by customer services or at check out / during stay.

Always had good stays at Premier inn, and I have stay in about 6 now.
Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.

Is that aimed at me????

    You don't even know me.

Anyway, PI rang yesterday and have offered a full refund. Which I have to say is excellent and that makes me want to use them again, as they are obviously honest and stand up to their guarantee.
Oh used the one in Newbury earlier in the year and said he had no problems, so it seems it's the luck of the draw.
    :)
