Premier inn good night sleep "guarantee"

I have asked at all the Premier Inn hotels I have stayed at what are the conditions of your claim “A Great Night's Sleep Guaranteed”. No one has been able to inform me with any actual conditions. All your staff say is we have a Good Nights Guarantee, and when I ask what is that all about, there are many weird and wonderful replies, but not one has been able to give me a written condition what it is all about.
I can’t find the details on “A Great Night's Sleep Guaranteed”, on your web site. The only thing I have found is “If you don’t get a good night’s sleep when you stay with us, we’ll give you your money back”.
Well I can inform you, that I am now nearly 60 years old, and all my life, I have never once stayed in any hotel (World wide and including Premier Inns) or at a colleagues home or by my relatives and had a good nights sleep! I can sleep in my car better than in a strange bed.
I have actually only stayed in a hotel to use the facilities and slept in my car.
Does this mean I can book into your hotel, take a bath, watch a bit of TV and then leave, get my money back and then sleep in my car. Or visa versa, sleep in my car, use the facilities in the morning and get my money back…..0 -

Sounds like thats something psychological to be honest so you may not be able to claim that!
I suspect that factors Premier Inn can't control are excluded from the policy. For instance if you don't get a good nights sleep because your OH snores loudly I doubt they would refund that! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. The good night guarantee, is for undisturbed sleep i.e no yobs waking you up, fire alarm etc. I have claimed for a false fire alarm at 1am and was refunded no problem.
i have claimed money back for a very uncomfortable bed , it was a few years ago but if i remember correctly i had to write a letter of complaint , they wouldnt accept emails/phone callsThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. I was asked if I'd had a good night's sleep last time I stayed in a premier inn, to which I replied that I'd been aware of a door from the corridor squeaking, but had been awake anyway. They offered me a refund there and then but foolishly I declined as I'd been awake (pre race nerves)0

If you were there for three nights, why not just ask to move rooms?
The complaints get sent through to the site anyway, it would probs be easier (and faster) for you to phone up the site and ask to speak to the general manager.0 -
I got a refund twice from PI - once at a very very noisy Manchester site where my room was on the front of a busy road in the centre of town, not the one at the convention centre. The other was in some place on the M6 (can't remember much about it apart from the noise of the motorway and the awful restaurant next door - something Barns?) and each time it no charge was made and no quibbles about it. As my company was paying there wasn't actually a refund, more a lack of charges.
PI are much preferable to other chains, however, thankfully, I haven't had to use them recently. Certainly the guarantee has worked for me in the past.0 -
Must admit, we had a fire alarm go off at 7.30 am, We all rushed to car park assembly point and staff told us that we should claim refund. We didn't because it was only just prior to our alarm time but those that did had a no quibble return of that nights stay cost!0

We were staying in one with an adjoining pub. In the early hours someone broke into the pub and dragged the fruit machine out, stuck it in a van and burnt off.
I didn't call the police, but I did get a refund for that night :rotfl:Yes it's overwhelming, but what else can we do?
Get jobs in offices and wake up for the morning commute?0 -
Yesterday the hotel rang oh to discuss his feedback. He missed the call & they left a message asking him to call back....wonder what that will bring??0

I had a lousy night in PI at Heathrow once plus very poor service in the restaurant. Didn't think to claim at the time but did post an honest review on Trip Advisor - I was contacted by them following this and offered a refund - which I accepted. Usually find PI very good but that stay was a poor experience.0
