Oh dear LOU It's your birthday and I nearly missed it. Hope you've had a lovely day and been well looked after.

beemused: hadn't realised that you were a primary HT. Me too, although my school was my own and completely off the wall so perhaps it doen't count. Couldn't hack the new systems in State schools as I was trained in the fifties where the child was the most important concern, not the boxes waiting to be ticked.

Spent a happy day today sewing pew cushions and we are a third of the way through. We want to get them finished before the end of August as someone who knows it all has stated that we'll never do it.
    That's fighting talk.

Too busy to cook today so it was a sneaky visit to the chippy. Happy sigh.

Have to be up with the lark tomorrow as I am doing sausage and bacon rolls at the church coffee morning and sale.

Have been washing like mad the last couple of days and now the ironing pile is as big as ever.

Lou: glad you have settled the thorny question of a name. My DS and DIL are still battling it out.
She says she likes quaint old fashioned names. He says No Way.

    We'll see.

Penpin special ((((hugs))))flower-004.gif. Like lamewolf, I know the frustration of having to rely on others .

I managed to get all of the washing done and so I am only expecting one load to do tomorrow :D that will be the overnight laundry bin breeding mystery that affects us all :rotfl:
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
