For information - Mr M is doing 1/3 off free range, corn fed chicken. Just bought two, weighing 1.65kg each for around £9.40 - have deboned them and frozen most of it - 10 meals. Not bad for good quality chicken. Great with rice noodles (plus tomato, finely sliced carrot, ginger, garlic, spring onion, a touch of soy sauce and coriander) - cost per luscious bowl ... about £1.50.
Wonder if organic, free range chicken is ever YS?____________________________________________

Wonder if organic, free range chicken is ever YS?In the last two weeks I have had free range duck legs, organic falafal, organic mushrooms, organic kiwi fruits. Corn fed poussins.
It is very rare that the YS are the basic ranges. I have had guinea fowls and all sorts.
The chicken legs we are having today where £6.20 orignal price.
I paid 55p.:o£36/£240

Morning
Breakfast is cereal, Lunch is YS hot and spicy chicken legs with YS coleslaw and YS potato salad. Dinner will be YS chorizio and YS peppers made in to a stew.
I will be going out later for milk so I will go at YS time to see what I can get. The only thing I really need is a decent strong cheese. I can't hold off getting it much longer and may need to pay full price for it.
A lovely day here, going to get some gardening done.:)

Foraged a few of these apple like rose hips yesterday along with a full carrier bag of gorgeous elderberries:
So today, I have spent over AN HOUR destalking elderberries and coring the hips:
I barely covered them with boiling water and simmered until they softened:
I'm gonna strain em in a jelly bag and maybe tonight make either or both: elderberry and rose hip jelly jam and/or cordial......
Free food. Gotta love it:T:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A
