If only one rim has been nicked, it will in all probability have been by someone who has lost a similar one.
The answer is to find a similar car .....:D:D

Nasty :rotfl:
OP, make sure you cable-tie the trims in place next time, it'll stop the scroats from targetting your car, they'll just move on to the next one.
Definitely get genuine trims though, the cheap £10 sets are rubbish and make your car look cheap.0 -
surprised people are joking about nicking stuff from other cars here. to those who do efffffuuuuuu.
I had my driver side wing miror nicked once, left me almost stranded. cheapskate couldn't fork out £10 to buy a new one so decided to nick mine.
I managed to get by electrical taping a shaving mirror onto my wing and driving to a parts store and buying a replacement. Not too worried about the cost, but the inconvenience it causes when you have to deal with unexpecte crap like that is bad/0 -

theiving insurers will probably class a third party wheel cap as a "decorative mod", and invalidate your insurance over it if ur involved in a dangerous accident and your insurers had to pay out to third parties.0 -
Are you sure it hasn't just come off the wheel whilst driving the car, rather than being stolen?? Single wheel trims by the side of the road and in hedges are not an uncommon site..."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

When I lost one I bought a pair. (could not get a match)
One set of two on one side and a different set on the other.
As far as I know no one has noticed.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0 -
I had all 4 trims stolen off my car last year. Then I saw them on a car a few streets away complete with the scrape on one where hit the kerb once.
One night when I was walking home after one too many beers I stole one back. Now the said car has replaced them for a different set. Probably stolen.0 -

I had 2 nicked from my Mk3 Mondeo and bought a set cheaply on eBay (far cheaper than a dealer and only slightly above a crappy set from Halfords). When they arrived I was glad I had bought 4 as they weren't quite the same design. The day I put them on, I saw another Mondeo who had only bought 2 - it had 2 fronts one set and 2 backs a different set.I need to think of something new here...0
