Would it help to look at it another way - I'm going to stop contact with my mother in order to protect my children from her manipulative behaviour?
If you can accept that your responsibility as a mother over-rides any "duties" as a daughter, you would see it in a more positive light.0 -
Is it possible your mother has an undiagnosed mental health issue such as bipolar?
Yeah, lets just give everything a diagnosis... especially if we don't understand it! Then we can medicate, sedate, and congratulate ourselves for another successful 'job done'
When are we going to stop this "there must be some medical or mental health reason behind a persons behaviour"...?
