Walk out with a big aerosol of Air Freshener, and disperse that liberally in the direction of the smokers.....

Firstly, get double glazing! It'll reduce your heating bills, your house will be more sellable, and you'll hear less - sounds like a good investment....

Do you keep your windows closed during the summer??

After spending thousands of pounds on this 'solution', the house will not be 'more sellable' if there is a crowd of smokers outside...

    1/10 Must try harder ;)

Stink bombs strategically placed where the smokers congregate.

http://shop.funking.co.uk/pack-of-12-stink-bombs-57-p.asp <<< These were the cheapest I found.

Judging by the smell of most smoking cabins and the smell of most smokers homes, I don't think would be very effective, :D:D:D:D
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

That's a bit harsh BritRael! The house should have double glazing these days anyway, solving the other problems I mentioned, and how about opening the windows at the back of the house? The smell will still get in through the vents anyway.

Put a discrete cctv camera up and post the results on youtube.
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

Have long wished to do this to dog owners who let their dogs foul the pavement just by my house and don't clear it up. I would also have their photos on display somewhere prominent.

    No don't do that.
You simply scrape up the crap, follow them home and when they open the door sling the crap down the hallway with the message, "I've brought your shlt back" :o;)

Sorry, didn't mean to sound harsh (I did wink to show it was tongue in cheek) :)

Although I agree with your 'solutions', they weren't solutions to the OP's problem were they?
I asked "do you keep your DG closed during the summer?" i.e. even if the OP took your advice and invested 1000's of pounds in DG, why should they have to keep their windows closed on a lovely day? Personally, I throw open all my windows to let in fresh air, I do not want to be forced to close them because of cigarette smoke :)

I would like to apply the same principle to cafes with outside tables. In warm summer weather I want to be able to sit outside and enjoy my coffee without smokers sitting round me. At the weekend i had to give up and move to a table inside.

Jeyes fluid is wonderful stuff. Im sure it will discourage loitering of both sh!te machines, their owners and smokers..mix with water to a strong mix and wash down area liberally..
