Hi all,
going to London tomorrow and have just come across this thread. I have looked at the website (daysoutguide) and I'm confused r.e. the whole valid ticket situation.
We are travelling to London tomorrow on the train from Bristol. We are returning on Sunday afternoon also on the train. We will be purchasing day travel cards for the tube on Friday and Saturday.
My question then is: if I want to visit these attractions on Saturday...my train tickets are for either side of this but still cover a rail journey to London. Will I be able to use this offer on the Saturday? The FAQ's on the site are not 100% clear on this so just wondered if anybody had tried before I get embarrased on Saturday?
Cheers,

I would simply like to ask the same question as debtmagnet above - any ideas.
Thanks0 -
Hi jonnyjackov,
I know it's not a definitive answer but I picked up the leaflet in Paddington Station and took it over to a ticket buying desk to ask the question. After not understanding me a few times (he spoke broken English), the chap told me that I would need a ticket for the actual day if I wanted to use the 2 for 1 vouchers.
I then tried to find a cheap rail ticket but this was also hard work so in the end I just gave the whole thing a miss.
If the man on the desk was to be be believed then you do actually have to have a ticket for THE DAY.... not either side.
Hope that's of some help?

We used a couple last week and no one asked for out train tickets...The futures bright the future is Ginger0

Thanks for the help.
I might just take my Vigin tickets out with me everyday, hope they don't ask for tickets or don't check the date, and act dumb, then confuse them by showing my oyster card (which is valid in certain circumstances - and I doubt they all have readers).
I don't think this is dishonest cos trying to get a definite answer seems impossible, and I am travelling to and from London by train.

Hi, can anyone get this website to work, it keeps coming up with an error message. Im going to London at the weekend with my daughter and would like to know what is on offer for 2for1.
Thanks0 -
I tried to find a contact to inform them that their server language isn't compiling the database links.
Although they mention something about to address them for technical problems only - there is NO contact address/email or phone number.
But you could get the leaflets as you're there - Here is some info:Where can I get the latest 2for1 promotional leaflet from?
These can be obtained from your nearest participating National Rail station, they CANNOT be posted, faxed or e-mailed. But since you are on this website, why not get details of the offers/download the vouchers whilst you are here?
Remember that you can also pick up the vouchers from the 2for1 London Attractions leaflet which can be found at principal staffed National Rail stations in the South East.
