pimento- wish id spent 10mins reading them before i booked it oh well lesson learnt same reasons mentioned on reviews poor reception service, loud music.
looksguy- plenty of reasons to complain (loud music/early deliveries/ 30 plus steps to navigate for a oap who we said was not very good on her feet) just making a point it clearly states overlooking courtyard we counted severn delivery vans when in the room and we spent 90% of our time on the sea front, why call a delivery bay a courtyard isnt it false advertising? im kicking up a fuss because been totally ripped off and they have shown no attempt to apologise at all, total lack of respect for a paying customers complaints although reading on trip advisor thats how they deal with complaints

You need to back off and calm down a bit. Severn is not a number!

No harm in calling a delivery bay a courtyard, seems odd yes but its got nothing to do with trade descriptions or even trading standards.

put a reveiw on trip advisor after hotel failed to call

can i take this complaint further or is that it and the hotel just get away without responding to complaints?

looksguy- glad to know you wouldnt be upset if you had paid £600 out for a special weekend only to have it ruined unfortunetely im not in a posistion to go and do it again in a few weeks so do feel pi55ed off about it

Sorry you mentioned £340 in post #1 and now it's £600? You threatened, they called your bluff and frankly reading this thread they were right to do so.

£340 for the hotel. £600 for the weekend. Seems clear enough to me.
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.

I would hazard a guess it was deleted due to abusive language.

Does the hotel have any official rating awarded by the AA or similar organisation. If it does then its worth letting them know about your experience. I had a had an awful time in a guesthouse that incredibly had a 4 star rating. I contacted Visit England who had awarded the rating and they took it very seriously, the rating was removed soon after.

I'd email HQ of the company - CEO if need be.

I did this re noise and extreme cold at a different hotel (due to the window wouldn't close) and was given a full refund, after threatening to issue Court proceedings, for breach of contract, as the room wasn't fit for purpose, ie to sleep in.
Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. If they wanted morality or the view of the IoD or Bank they'd ask them.
