notbritishgas has given a very plausible answer to that question.
To get the formal answer you need to look at the BG final bill and the Edf opening bill together.
The losing supplier closing reading and the gaining supplier opening reading must be identical otherwise there has been an irregularity in the switching process. For your information the gaining supplier (Edf) is responsible for the management of that process.
How did you initiate the switch? Were you asked for, and did you provide, transfer date readings to Edf?0 -

Assuming your units are cubic metres, the 363 equates to 4,170 kWh which on your EDF Blue tariff would cost £218.604!0
