On day one of recording every penny I spend - was all going well until I got an email from Lakeland about their sale on garden products.
I am trying to spend money more consciously and to cut down but there are some things in the sale that have been on my to buy list for ages.

BB - hugs x I live in fear of a similar thing happening to me even though I send all my official letters Special Delivery:eek:
Hester - dreadful for you all - must be so worried. I just cant believe SS can be so silly - actually i can having witnessed first hand Mooloo's ongoing battle.
Csarina - nice to hear from you x
Not a good day for me - glad tomorrow is a new day xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

Hope is like the sun, which, as we journey toward it, casts the shadow of our burden behind us.

Hi chums mixed sort of day today ,the boys were really good and played very well, no arguing and I got quite a bit of knitting done
:)
Then my eldest DD texted me to say that DGS Danny's test results had come back and he had to go to the Drs this morning Apparently the left side of his heart is enlarged, which is worrying. He had a bad turn when playing with his Sunday footie team and collasped a couple of weeks ago, and I went with him to the hosptal as his Dr wanted him to have some tests. He is 21 doesn't drink or smoke and at the hospital they didn't even have any records for him as the last time he was there was in 1990 when he was born, he plays football and eats healthily as well.Bless him he doesn't even get a cold in the winter.Well he has to go for an echo at the end of this month It was supposed to be in September but his Dr wants it brought forward. So its a bit of a worry,on top of which his Dad had a car accident on Saturday afternoon in my DDs car , a woman who had an unsecured dog in her car stopped dead in front of him so DDs car is off the road and she is waiting for a courtesy car to arrive .They are really not having a lot of luck at the moment .I am concerned about Danny as he is such a normally well young man and is very active. His Dr has said no more football for awhile until they know what's going on with his heart.
Apart from that I got home from looking after the boys about 6.30 and thought I'll just nip across the road to get some cash from the hole in the wall, which I did OK then as Tesco's is next door I popped in and for a change actually managed to get some bargains I got a small pot of single cream reduced to 10p ( some of which went on top of the remains of my apple crumble and some left over after my coffee for tomorrow night to go on some jelly in the fridge ) a bag of radishes 15p and a jalepeno chicken pasta pot for 33p so with some salad from my fridge I had a very inexpensive dinner tonight and there's enough left to go into a Jacket spud tomorrow. So at least there was one bright spot in the day
BBC South-East's Diamond Jubilee Photo
Tomorrow I am taking the boys to Rochester Cathedral as the large photo mosaic of the Queen which was made with photo's of Kent people for BBC South East is on show there. Its touring the county, as its a free entrance I though it will be nice for the boys to see something different. We'll probably have a look around the museum as well and maybe the Castle.Only 10 more days until the holidays and the boys are getting quite excited about it.
Hope everyone is enjoying their break from the routine and the children haven't driven you all to drink yet:)
Take care evryone

Evening all
Late one from me! Good day at work despite the rain, work kids did the final fun day for local family centre.
Then tonight I went to a sushi making class with 2 friendsit was brilliant! Cost £20, and they provided all the ingredients. Made 15 pieces of sushi, ate most there but brought 5 home with me.
Nos da
