    morning all

made my first ever order to approved food two days ago so that should be coming soon. lets hope that i have bought good stuff and dont end up with loads of stuff i wont use.
really cross yesterday as my washing was 90% dry and then i popped out and it became 100% wet.
tea tonight will be fish i think as i didnt get anything else out of the freezer. one child is already up and out and catching a bus at 10 and the other one is on his laptop. if it brightens up here i shall get his scooter out and push him out the door and see if i can do some dusting. i think dusting with a broken arm is acceptable. everywhere is tidy due to the family helping out as well. washing is all up to date ( even if its sitting on the airer:mad:) sorry im dwelling on that fact!!
im concentrating on food and clothes and the rest of the house can just drown in dust.
my husband took me to asda last night, i so want to start driving again. just being able to pop into town when i fancy it would be heaven. i had some shorts sitting on the side that had to go back to asda and they were niggling me so he took me last night. just changed the shorts and looked in the george bit and didnt look down the food aisles and was still tired. never mind. little by little

    happy tuesday everyone

    Morning all
Drizzly here today but I've hung the washing on the covered line, it will dry eventually.
BB fingers crossed it all goes ok, you know where I am if you need to have a rant.
Very little sleep last night thanks to social services who put my DD1 in immense danger & then washed their hands of the situation! DS2 had to drive to hers, collect her & the children & move them all to a place of safety! Ye gods & little fishes what do they get paid for!
So on top of being tired I got up this morning, went to the wheelybin & discovered 5 piles of cat poo on my drive, I stood in one pile, the doormat & my slippers all need cleaning/binning.
Hubby checked his bank account y'day & discovered that the £200 he is owed for some 'urgent' shopping he did for work hasn't arrived yet. When he queried it his boss said I'd told them there was no rush! When he asked how long it would be before they would pay it his boss gave him a lecture about not living above his means. Bloody cheek, good job his boss is female, if it had been a bloke he'd probably have hit him, lol.
    Have a lovely day everyone.
    Hugs Hester

  • Hester, your daughter should contact the head of SS and complain, if she gets no satisfaction her local MP will soon put the wind up them. Get her to keep a diary of what happens so she has an accurate record of what goes on. A report to the local police asking them to note what has happened, she may get fobbed off, but tell her to keep trying, not only have SS put her in danger they have also put the lives of the foster chidlren and her own children in dnager. Behaviour like that is totally unacceptable.

    Morning Redruby and all,

Just a quick visit from me today. I didnt sleep well last night and i'm undecidedly ropey today.

Its another grey day but i cant hold the washing off any longer, I think my washer and tumble dryer will be on most of the day.
The Dr came out to my dad yesterday, he has taken him off of a tablet that the hospital prescribed, I swear its that making him sick, so we will hopefully see an improvement soon.

I feel your Dads pain, i swear i'm not the same person as i was before i started taking medication that is 'supposed' to be making me better. At least i dont seem to be sleeping the clock round with this new tablet but i still dont feel 'right'. Still, early days i suppose.

Halight, hope all goes well at the doctors.

Hoping a little bit of sunshine comes your way today (i wouldnt mind a bit of it myself).

    Hugs all,

Eh? It's 9am where are you all?!!!
Oi, come off it, Mistress Beans, I'm never logged on before 11:00.:rotfl:

(((HUGS))) and GWS vibes to poorly dads, poorly ducks, poorly chickens and anyone else needing them today. And Be Safe vibes to Hester's DD. Don't get me on my soapbox about SS.

Nothing exciting to report this morning - Jessie was galumphing round the back garden earlier; it's quite funny to watch, she has a very comical run due to her back legs being wonky. The exercise is good for her though; she just has to only do a little bit at a time, so as not to overdo it and make her legs hurt.:o She's also got some special joint care treats which she has one of each day - they've got glucosamine and green-lipped mussel in according to the packet. She thinks they taste great, which is what counts.;)

I'm not sure how I came to agree to it, but I have to make Mr LW a chocolate mousse for pud today; it's a recipe that actually uses fresh rosemary (we have a bush of this in the garden) so the taste is unusual, but it's always popular!:D I've got fresh cream to use up, which will make enough mousse for today and tomorrow.

Dins is HM nut loaf (from the freezer) with sweet'n'sour rice and pineapple chunks. Mr LW has only just refilled the sherry decanter (my sweet'n'sour recipe calls for sherry) so I hope I can lift it!:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Morning everyone,

Hester hope your DD is ok today.

    BB hope it goes ok.

Redruby healing vibes for DDs dad.

Judi hope that your son got on ok at the doctors.

Monnagran had to have a giggle about the rev getting up to watch american wrestling on a sunday morning, I can't imagine our vicar doing that!

Have dropped DS off at meeting point for the camping trip, it is a huge Christian festival called Soul Survivor down in Shepton Mallet and his friends mum gets as many young people as possible to go every year.
OH is at work, and DD1 and DD2 have gone off to town with friends so I am having a peaceful time alone with the washing!

    Better get on with it!

    Have a lovely day everyone.:)

    Good Morning.
I love typing that as it's usually late in the day before I get a chance to read or post.

Still our 'holiday' and we are going out with friends for lunch. Yippee.

One of my drop-in boys is busy in the garden as I speak, stripping a flower bed of weeds and probably flowers as well, but ho hum, whatever. OS by proxy, sounds good to me.

nlj: are you trying to lose weight in a hurry or get moving again after a plateau? If not you might be trying to do things too fast. Slow and steady is longer lasting.

    Friends here, must go.

    Morning everyone,
Spent the morning doing admin stuff with bank accounts etc.,so not much(none;)) house work done.I was going to do some bedding but its chucking it down again:(...sick of it.A load of mushrooms/fungi have sprung up in the garden border its so damp-couldnt believe my eyes when I saw them all:rotfl:I did get one lot dry,but am going to have to rescue a sweatshirt that wasnt quite dry,and is now very wet.
I'm just resigning myself to using the TD,but it wont cost as much as it has been doing as I did a spot of maintenance on it yesterday;).After complaining to Dh(months ago,and repeated regularly :D) that it seemed to be taking a lot longer to dry than usual, and nothing done,I took matters into my own hands and dragged it out for a look.Took a lot of puffing and panting as its a big heavy duty one,but the extractor pipe thingy had a big build up of fluff and had got kinked too,so it wasnt working properly. Then went outside to check the vent and that wasn't flowing through freely as 2 out of 3 flaps on the vent were stuck so freed them too.Tried it out with my 2nd load and its 100% better :jMight stop the complaints about smelly clothes now:rotfl:
RR- hope the Dads are improving
HH-how scary for DD and children.
Deleted_User-nice to 'see' you-hope you and OH are doing ok.
Have a good day all x
BBird-hope the meeting goes ok,and duck is better.

Thanks Moorhen. The tests show that if he gets help now the damage is reversable.

Fortunately he has beat worse addictions in his 31 years on this earth. I am certain that if he wants to he can beat this too (if he wants to). Its down to him now.

Walking down to the surgery he said to me 'Mom you always said i have to learn the hard way and i think your right'.

I'm hoping he is turning a new chapter in his life.
