    takeaway pizzas are expensive - If I were OP I'd chalk it up to experience and try and claim some of it back from work if possible.

    If a customer has not specified a size should they then automatically presume they want the largest most expensive one.

    Still unclear about the rip off part though ??? (paying for a large pizza and getting a small = rip off
    or paying for 3 drinks and only getting 1 = rip off)

    you ordered specific pizza + drink = you ate, u paid, happy days.... cant see where the rip off part is?!
