Gah, been up since 5am to do a car boot, all packed, headed off and it was full so we couldn't get on to sell. There were a lot of unhappy sellers as its not supposed to start until 8am.

Anyways we've put all the car boot stuff in the garage and are now back home wondering what to do now!:wall::think:

Morning all, up and about, already showered and dressed. Just eaten and finishing my cuppa. DD has just thrown a couple of items down to be ironed (taking the michael) so will do those and then walk the doggies before it gets too hot.

    Catch you later.

Triker - I would be so hacked off by that, was cross enough last week when the scrap store was closed for a week and I had a car full of stuff to dump

DH and DS2&3 dropped at the station, off to the Handball bronze match

Everybody really tired here today. I need to phone my mother to see if she needs anything doing but so not in the frame of mind, especially after all the upset earlier in the week. Think I'll do my exercises first - avoidance at it's extreme!

Morning all, spent yesterday cleaning and washing the car. Seen last night that there was a big bit missed on passenger side so i'll sort that this morning. DD needs to be packed up today for tomorrow. Boys will go to summer scheme and DD will help me with charity stuff tomorrow.

PIL got awful news earlier on in the week, FIL's sister (O) has the big C and has been given 2 months. There was a family party last night for FIL's other sister (V) but of course his sister (O) couldn't go. I think the plan is to have a very queit family day, there hoping his sister (O) will want to go. It's all so sad as the sister (O) is in a home because she doesn't want to be a burden on her children. She's a lovely woman. :(

Anyway with it being a very small family day i've said KD can come up here. Plan is taking kids to play park and forest park, i need them sleeping at a good time tonight. :D

Juliejim sorry to hear of your loss.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

All tasks done except for the weeding, which I am going to put off again to enjoy a lazy afternoon. Please can I have the gold medal for procrastination before the olympics end?

Juliejim I'm so sorry to hear about your aunt. Life is so unfair sometimes.:(

Vanilla sorry to hear about your FIL's sister, too.:(

Jessie's gone home now; she left half her coat on the lounge carpet though, so I've done my best to Dyson it up. Not as good as when Mr LW does it, but it'll have to suffice for now.

Mr LW is getting there - he's eaten three slices of toast and Marmite for lunch, so that's good.:T But he tires very quickly if he tries to do anything; and he's at the stage of starting to want to do things now. Unlike some OH's, he wants to try and help with the housework, and I have to keep telling him I have it covered and find him a task that won't knock him backwards to do.:o

Bath towels, hand towels and hankies all washed and out on the line drying; I have a headache, so suspect we may be in for thunder in the fairly near future, so making the most of the drying weather.;)

Back lawn looks like a jungle - I now need to work out how to cut it without knocking myself into Wednesday week, as I know for a fact Mr LW isn't up to doing it. I think it may have to remain jungle-like for a while, and hope Derek and Clive can see over the top of it (they're Lhasa Apsos and will be arriving on Wednesday).:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
