Glad to hear that things are settling down at the Lair and hope that Mr Wolf is keeping his fluid levels topped up.
Probably not by this method, though:beer:

Meanwhile, am getting ready for a vintage fair tomorrow which will help on the decluttering front as well as financially:)

A little less humidity would be nice but hey, can't have it all.

Not  but lots of :coffee:Green tea with honey in (the honey's a new departure, but if it's what he wants, I'm not going to argue):o

He's not allowed dairy with the anti-b's he's on, but for a change from green tea, he can have Earl Grey without milk. He's also drinking lots of plain old-fashioned Adam's Ale, too.:o

He's sat and watched his "John Carter" DVD today, currently we have "Avatar" on.:D

The really good news is that he hasn't dashed out to the loo for at least a couple of hours - this is so much better than yesterday (sorry if TMI, but it's such a relief, if you'll pardon the pun).:o

I've finished going through all my emails (loads of online surveys, most of which I don't qualify for in the end but hey-ho) so I'm going to log off and get my cross stitch - I feel I've earned it.

You can do Rooms in which ever order you like :D

In truth, I know that, but I don't feel I'm part of the same club when I do different rooms every day.

My 'room of doom' is my office where I dump everything that needs a home, and the result is I can hardly move in here (it's where the sox got lost). It's too much for me to even contemplate today so I am going to settle for the picture rails and doors in the sitting and dining room, and finishing off the last three shelves in the kitchen dresser. That way, two of those three rooms are finished to a standard it should be fairly easy to maintain, along with three other rooms in the house that get done over the weekends.

At some point I will have to tackle not only the 'room of doom' which will take at least a week on its own, our bedroom (mucky in the bits that don't show) and OH's offfice (which has not been spring-cleaned since he moved in 17 years ago . I might do it when he's away, if he's sufficiently nice to me before he goes.:kisses3: I'm flagging at the thought of the other spaces that need attention of top of that little lot.

That's why I need to be in the same club as everyone else - I'll go back to thinking 'It's just too much!' if I'm left to my own devices again. (I got a bronze and a gold this week! :T )

Just a few things left to do before my visitors arrive tomorrow afternoon. These last 2 days I've been plodding away very slowly cos it's so hot but the lists have gradually been done.

I must say most of the house looks really nice, apart from the office and the RoD that is. I am going to try to spring clean the office when said visitors have gone back home and deal with 1 box of stuff from RoD each day. Mind you, I think that will take a very long time - large room many boxes.

    Off now to Mr T's.

    Glad MrLW is recovering.

Clean dressing gowns all round eh LW? Nice one :) Glad to hear things are improving :T sending healing vibes to you both xx

I've decluttered work - had a good day actually :) once I'd got over the shock of finding my desk labelled 'Duty Desk'....which made me think I'd been 'moved' but turned out to be a new identifier for the Duty Worker who happened to sit at my desk yesti. (We're supposed to be worksmart - but most of us have designated desks)

On my way home I paid the leccy bill, bought birthday cards for my brother (tomorrow) and mom (Tuesday) and -oh bother...just realised I didn't top up DS's phone as promised :o :doh:and Post Office is shut now heyho. If he phones to say he's desperate I'll nip over to town - oh he can't he hasn't any credit :rotfl: Brain cells are already enjoying the weekend and I haven't even opened that bottle of white cooling in the fridge...yet ;)
