Got this today about the delivery issues they have had:

Dear Madam:

As previously announced, we’ve encountered many problems with our package delivery service provider.

Therefore, we have been analyzing other delivery firms, and Chronopost seems to be capable of meeting our needs, but, in the delivery process, we absolutely must include our clients’telephone numbers.

Below are the steps in Chronopost’s delivery processes, which we’ve included in order that you can understand why the phone number is required:

- The packages are deposited in the mailboxes if they fit.
- If a package does not fit in the mailbox, the package will leave from Chronopost’s facilities and will be delivered within two days.
- If you are not home when delivery is attempted, a delivery notice is left at your residence.
- If you are not home when delivery is attempted again the following day, Chronopost will call you.

It is due to this process that we require a telephone number.

Therefore, prior to making our decision regarding Chronopost, we would like to know if you will agree to provide us with your telephone number.

I got my £5 voucher from them today! It was sent to my work as the delivery address I'd given them was at work. Nice! I was half not expecting them at all!

Whether you give a number, mobile or home is entirely up to each individual. If you refuse then you do not get the test products if that is the couriers stipulation!
How many times are numbers given in comps, surveys, on line shopping and social site account information.
You only even give out what you are comfortable doing!
