I am so glad my depression was only part of my ESA claim and instead it was mainly for my physical problems I applied for it. Its awful that those who need the help most are instead actually harmed by this process.Need to get back to getting finances under control now kin kid at uni as savings are zilch

Could almost be me they are writing about. Could be anybody, at any given point. The only difference is that at one point, it was a retired cop, walking past along the hypothetical cliff. I suppose that makes a difference in attitude and thought process.

Thank you for the cake.
Count down to mr Shrink appointment. Three times out of three he has got it wrong so far... I have little confidence it will be better today....

Bought a pattern for girls pinafores, so a bit closer to using über sewing machine.
And need to get on bathroom scales today, should I post here what they say? I just need to make sure I don't start weighing in twice a day
Must get on

How did it go Dusty?
Shame the offspring missed the big day.Good on Dh though.
As to weighing twice a day - weigh as often as you like but only take notice first thing in the morning when you will be at your lightest.
Happy rest of your day. xMiggy

Text from DD and call from DS. So much better than I expected.
Had a lovely day, lunch down by the Port, out with friend A and her daughter for shopping. Got a £3.99 how to cook 70 shades of bread book
And some sweet things from an everything you don't need shop, including some Burts Bees and a very nice, very reduced white stuff top for best and social events
Tea overlooking the forth of firth and the sunset... Priceless
A nice day

so it has happened
the envelope i wasnt worried about because it was from the council , contained information that they had received information that my housing benefit was stopped.
It said ring your local housing office so I did.
He said to ring the Housing Benefit Office so I asked to speak to the local Housing Manager, at which point he put me through to , my housing officer
He explained very nicely, he knows my issues, that something had caused the DWP to suspend my benefit and I needed to ring the Jobcentre plus
So I went on the internet to the DWP site and got though to the local JC+ where a very nice man called Bill said I needed to ring a second 0845 number to get straight though to my local processing office and they would sort it.
My phone call got through to Mike in Stockport or somewhere.... he knows nothing, except my claim is not in payment.
I am now waiting for a call back by 5.
I am anxious and concerned.
I filled in my WCA, in some considerable detail, with medical letters supporting it. I sent it registered. I have heard nothing.
Surely this is not good news.
I am going to spend the day recycling old fabric into loveliness to distract myself.
We do have some money set aside, we now know our outgoings and have a small buffer. We have a very well stocked store cupboard and a money saving attitude.
I know its commonplace, my experience this morning, but it hits hard.
