Lots of computer related equpment is now supplied without a paper manual, with the intention that you read the CD manual on the computer to which you are fitting (or using) the equipment - and hurrah for that!
If the OP is particularly interested in one aspect of the phone's functionality they could print out the couple of pages covering this rather than the 40-60 odd pages that the manual may well be (provided they have access to a printer - mind you they could post a wanted ad...)
And given the fact that most of the manual would be in different languages to cover all European languages. Only about 10% would be English.
My washing machine manual is like a book, but there's only around 4 pages of english0 -
