I must be getting a grumpy woman

today my freecycle group has received NINE messages from the same person - all of them WANTED (what a surprise!)

Amongst them are such necessities as

    heelys

    denim skirts

    bunkbeds

    tumble dryer

reptile stuff - oh she'll help you by taking it off your hands (where's the sarky emoticon when you need it)

    garden furniture

    and a slide mobile phone

do we think someone is taking the p!!! a bit.....

(just checked - not a single please or thank you - and she doesn't drive)

Blimey, they must be less greedy round here , ive only ever seen one wanted post that was for anything other than the usual baby stuff and that was for a laptop,

its a shame some people cant just be pleased with a bit of good will and have to exploit it to the extreme

I've just messaged my group mod to tell her how astonished I am at the cheek of some people and their 'shopping list' wanted ads. I heaped in a bit of praise too so it wasn''t all grumbling

    Wonder what she'll say....

Bit of a long shot - just got my hands on a Nokia 6310i phone. I have been
able to downlaod a .pdf manual but would quite like the paper version too.

Does anyone have one spare please ?

Couldn't they just print it out?? God, some people!

Disagree with you on this one suzy - these are often 40/50 and even 60 +pages long - expensive on the ink and not good for the environment using that much paper and ink. Also if someone has got one and it's at the bottom of a drawer then why not ask for it.

Indeed I did asked for the same thing and thinking about it that might even be my post :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: - I think mine is a 6310i :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: as it happened I got it and the guy did indeed have it lying around at the bottom of a drawer in his office - wouldn't even let me pay him for the postage (offered to send an SAE)

Agreed- had a 6 might break in Snowdonia in June 2004 - fell in love with it - too many places to mention but:

(excuse the multitud eof mis spellings to follow)

    Bedgelert
    Bala
    Lake Vrynnwy
    Port Madoch
    Tremadoch
    Llanberis
    Flint Castle
Fairy Glen (despite the greedy landowner)
    The Ogwen Valley

    et al

I'd counter that with the fact the OP obviously had a computer (and had the PDF), why on earth do they need a paper copy when they can quite easily read anything off the electronic copy.

Lots of computer related equpment is now supplied without a paper manual, with the intention that you read the CD manual on the computer to which you are fitting (or using) the equipment - and hurrah for that!

If the OP is particularly interested in one aspect of the phone's functionality they could print out the couple of pages covering this rather than the 40-60 odd pages that the manual may well be (provided they have access to a printer - mind you they could post a wanted ad... ;) )
