I arranged a collection for someone to take my old lawnmower. I told them that I would leave it out for them. Unfortunately my neighbour keeps their lawnmower on their doorstep and the wrong one got taken. Whoops! It all got sorted in the end though. Moral of the story: Keep your lawnmower in your shed not on your front door step!

have they got room for my recliner as well?

tape, glue, sew the tear up. learn to live with it. and where is the "need" factor, you've got something to sit on

Hopefully, the wanted messages will just go. Real shame for those wanting a few cardboard boxes to move or a worthless item (to others) that you can no longer buy but still. I guess it will have to fall flat on its !!!! for that to happen, which sounds like it might be sooner rather than later.

I just use it to get rid of clutter that it isn't worth selling or a charity shop wouldn't take/it is too bulky to get to them. A lot of the stuff on there should really go to a charity shop IMO.

    I have offered:

Vacuum cleaner (charity shop don't take electical items)
Garden swing (too bulky to take to charity shop)
Wooden patio set in need of a sand and re-varnish
Baby car seat (shouldn't get one second-hand but I KNEW it hadn't been in a crash and was in great condition so hated to send it to landfill)
    Block paving blocks

All were collected very quickly and the recipients were very grateful, so it has worked out well. But my group is small and new....I don't have email alerts though as it !!!!es me off to see the stuff that should go to a charity shop offered and the scrouging wanted posts, even on such a small board. Oh and I need to get rid of clutter not the other way round!

Hi, is this may sound like a strange request but does anyone have a

    Here's another:-

I really needed a table and chairs for my empty dining room. I have
access to a large estate car so pick up is no problem. My parents are
coming to dinner in 10 days and they are too old to sit on the floor!

    And another:-

An internal DVD/RW with setup discs

If anyone has one of these surplus to requirements I would be grateful
if they could get in touch with me.
I can collect from most areas.
