  • What a geek, who exactly would give this away, picked up my new Bathroom suite last night from this great site
Hi, I know there's not much chance of this(!) but does anyone have
an old MP3 player/ i-pod/ other music player that would be suitable to
listen to whilst running? I have just started training for a marathon and
thought music might keep me motivated! I would give it lots of use! I am in
    LE5.
    Best wishes, H

Here's another 'excuse' for wanting a flat screen monitor. As if someone would othewise put a flat screen monitor on the tip !! The begging that goes on for expensive items in my local group beggars belief

I'm moving into a really small place, and need a flat monitor so that it
doesn't take up all my limited desk space, if anyone has one they don't need i'd
    be really grateful, thanks!

Another one or three for your perusal / amusement.............

I am looking for any quantity and any colour of monoblock bricks, i
live on the outskirts of dundee and have a very large driveway which
is in desperate need of refurbishment,

i am not caring about what colour they are or if they are all miss-
matched colours, anything would be grately appreciated,

small quantities or large quantities can be collected from Dundee and
surrounding areas as far as Perth, Montrose, Aberdeen and Fife

Thanx in advance Ethel and Dave

    and another......................

We are looking for plenty of bark or wood shavings to cover a paly area
of our garden - note no please on this one let alone a thanks in advance

    and another......................

My son has an xbox, dvd-rom has messed up so I'm looking for a
replacement drive if anyone has one, so if anyone has an xbox gathering dust, or faulty please let me know so I can try and repair my sons xbox for him (he's doing my head in about it lol) - note someone had earlier offered a working x-box and games and hour or so before he posted. - note no please again.

Remember this which I posted the other day?

    WANTED: Sony Ericsson mobile phone
A long shot but I have had my mobile stolen 4 days after upgrading it,
typical! Have the charger etc for the 750i so if anyone had a sony
ericsson they no longer needed that would be great as I'm not good
with all these gadgets and have only been able to navigate my way
around the ericsson - a shame and I do sympathise, but..............!

    Received Sony Ericsson Mobile.

Phone now up and running, many thanks Sean - just goes to show you how generous folks can be when you just ask.

Oh and after posting items on mine, one lady never even got back to me to say thanks or even post a thanks on the board. That annoyed me a bit, but when push comes to shove the item she picked up, there is now space in my house where there was none before.

Oh and before I go, does anyone else notice the lack of manners posters seem to have with their often demand? No please let alone a thank you which I moaned about above!
