i want a bit of advice, we booked a holiday at pontins ages ago, and now we can't go, and was wondering if i should post it on freecycle as no one i know can use it either. but i'm a bit wary i'll get some unscrupulous person then trying to sell it on, or if something goes wrong and as its in my name this might cause a problem,
    any ideas?

Thats a generous thing to offer :T Like you say though, if its in your name and the person/people using the booking cause any problems/damage, it could be a headache for you. I'm not sure if things like this are transferable? Think I'd check it out - they might even give you a partial refund?

OK , but they should apply that rule to some of the ridiculous wants and offereds they do let through - your offer would really have benefited someone needing a break
Maybe you can sell it through 'Loot' or the local paper if Pontins let you tranfer it to someone else ??

Posted an offered on freecycle, got one reply which was reasonably polite, so emailed to say yes, you can have it, and when would you be able to collect it.
The reply came back 'I'll call round one day this week, not sure exactly when - whats your address?'

Not 'thanks' or 'what time would be convenient'........
Cheeky beggar. She can forget it.

Does anyone have any portable toilets they no longer need?
Going camping in a field with a large group of friends next month, and
    we'll need a few porta-loos.
    Thanks,

I've got a spade you can borrow.

    Offered - boys socks

I have 13 pairs of boys' socks suitable for age 1 - 2 years. They are in good condition, most are cosy winter socks (good for under boots) and a few other pairs of thinner ones. - erm I personally just think sox are one of those things you don't pass on, as they are undies to me. It's like wearing someone elses knickers. Spare the thought!

Totally agree socks and undie sharing, YUK!
