i'm sat here with half a box of roses now (was a full box
) not good for the hips, lol
160 dont worry about your hips, think positively - all that calcium via the milk in the chocolate will be good for your bones (no osteowhatsit) and your teeth if they are not plastic already! Well that's what I tell my kids anyway as I don't drink milk!!!!!
And on the subject of generous offers, what about this one?
Dear Freecycler,
We have and offer a very attractive upright piano. The striking mechanism is
excellent. The tuning is not excellent and will require, at some point, some
substantial work to tighten the pegs. The strings are "overstrung". This
doesn't mean they are over-stretched, it is a technical term referring to
how the strings are arranged. Over-strung is considered better than the
alternative (straight strung) but that is about as much as I know. The
keyboard case has the company name "Lyttleton & Co., London".
Our local auction house will take it but there is now guarantee that anyone
would buy it at which point we'd have to pay their labour costs
(substantial) hence I'd prefer it go free to a good home than us run the
risk of shelling out for it not to go a good home.
I can provide photos on request. We'd need YOU to collect and that isn't a
trivial task as it is damn heavy (would need 4 men to get it into a van).
I'm willing to be a man at this end if we could arrange a suitable time. I
also might be able to round up a 2nd man at this end.
We are in *****l.
In the first instance please e-mail me and we can take it from there.
yours,
What a lovely posting and so generous too - I do hope it goes to a great home and have no doubt he will be inundated with offers to "take this off his hands"0 -
