Re looking for the lady with a left foot didn't know you could advertise for people - wonder if I could advertise for a 6ft+ solvent single male with a knowledge of gardening, joinery and decorating?
If you do, and get one, and he's got a twin brother, PM me......

It *should* be about saving the planet but evidence suggests that some moderators (Not your good self!) are abusing the system and breaking the rules laid down by Freecycle.
I'm curious why both your posts are quoting comments made on this list almost 3 months ago.

Dont reply to the heated swimming pool ad, as mods have posted this on my local freecycle.

It has been brought to our attention that this member:
    djlloyd2006@...
is sending the same "offer" of a swimming pool to groups all over the
UK so please do not respond as it appears they are a spammer

I won't quote the mod directly but they were on about freecycle UK and the upper level of control (the hub)

The moderators on freecyle have first choice of all offers. anything they dont want they post for the members to see. If you post an offer you get lots of people saying there a charity and asking for it. Lots of people apply for offers and sell them on. But you might get lucky.

Get a life, your comments cause damage to a reputable cause! I own and run Croydons freecycle group, i can let you know the above statement is false, Only first posts by members are screened, so as to ensure they use the correct posting format, thereafter all posts go straight through to group, so there is no filtering, so as we get the good stuff. As a matter of fact, a lot of owners/moderators dont even reply to offers, they just give up their valuable freetime, which takes many many hours a week, providing this free service for our communities and the benefit of the planet!

Basically everything in your statement is false & malliscous
