Hi all...
I have just joined freecycle two days ago and after wanting lots of what is on offer, I thought I should do an offer myself first. I posted one yesterday morning and it's gone off to the mods. How long till I see it? I'm getting anxious waiting like this.
What a totally new world I have entered. Feeling ever so guilty about the carload of stuff we took to the tip last month, including a working TV set and an air con unit! Whoopsie...

sometimes you can wait hours for the mods to post your stuff and yes it is very frustrating.

Yep - it's a great concept. There are a lot of generous folk out there who will give stuff away for free.
We do however take the mickey out of the greedy few who post 'wanted' posts for expensive items or shopping lists. We also (in this thread) have a bit of fun sharing some of the stranger requests posted in groups

thought I had my first no show yesterday. have been arranging numerous collections but not from my home. went round at the arranged time and waited, eventually went back home to find an email asking for the house number. DOH. gave them everything else apart from that, 27 k plonker. Had a good laugh with them when they did turn up. 3 pick ups yesterday and all very nice people. trying to arrange another for tonight to finally clear the shed.
