ok, i want to ask you lot something and see what you say.:confused:
a while ago, we all got a message from mods that all messages must end in first half of postcode in the title, or wouldbe deleted.
this has now been followed up by you must post and offered before a wanted and wanteds must be 3 a month, no discussion thats the rules. fair enough.;)
several people are flouting this, had some wanteds in this morning, from people who have only ever posted wanteds, and most with more than three in a month. which is winding me up, cos if we all have to stick to the postcode rule (which is being enforced quite fiercly) why aren't the other rules being enforced so much?
I am in two minds whether to email the list-owner/mod, as i know they have been a bit funny with people who were p'eed off there messages got deleted for no postcode in the title, (even though it was in main message)   but its winding me up, as i feel these people are taking advantage. or is it just me being a bit of a grump. i know the mods have a lot to do, and have lives away from it, so maybe its just me over reacting
as i see it my choices are
    a) ignore it and seethe quietly :o:o
    or
    b) email the mods in nicest possible way and see what happens :o:o
i know they can't check every post, (yet they are for the postcode thing) but if i notice the same people always posting wanteds, i would have thought they would,
so come its a free for all, tell me what a grumpy trout i am. :T :T :T :T

Well, if you're grumpy, then so am I :rotfl:
If everyone stuck to the rules and everyone was pulled up for breaking them, then fair enough. When you see loads of wanteds going through from the same person, more than once a month, then I wonder whether:-
    a) groups need to appoint more moderators to keep an eye on posts and stop this happening
    b) leave anarchy to reign :rotfl: :rotfl:
Someone who collected an item off me said he never offered stuff, only took. Just in the last few days I've seen the same wanted posted THREE times by the same person, and you're not supposed to advertise for the same item more than once in a month.
Sometimes it makes me feel  , other times I just laugh at the sheer brass neck of people !
Good job I'm not a Mod, I'd be slapping wrists right left and centre :D :rotfl: :D

thanks everyone for the grumpy trout comments. sent an email off, been told if i don't like moderating to leave. its down to moderators choice now if they let posts through, not the rules. so extra grumpy trout. unless you miss your postcode off.

Hi I am after a double mattress - in any condition - doesnt matter how
tired / old it is. Even if you were thinking it could no longer be
used, I would glady take it off your hands. Can collect from anywhere
in the xxxxxxx area at your convenience. Hope someone out there can
    help. Thanks in advance
Nice to see someone who'd be happy to settle for something less than new, but don't think I'd fancy someone else's old mattress 'in any condition'
    Ewwww

    Hi.
we are trying to make something of our garden, and after making a few
purchases (we didnt realise quite how expensive plants could be!) we
have a rustic looking garden, with a couple of foxgloves, lavender, and
    some cosmos etc.
We really would love to make something of our garden, any plant
cuttings would be really appreciated, oh and any hand tools trowel that
    kind of thing.
I think i've just found my new hobby!
Thanks all for reading this, and for anything offered. all will be
happily received. any gardening tips too?!
We are in *********, and are happy to collect if not too far away.
    thanks again.
