freecycle- reuse dont bin

and a free standing oven with the hob attatched on top.

I need this desperately as they are to furnish rented accomodation so
must be in good working order.

WANTED - 13a Mains flex

Does anyone have any reasonably long lengths of mains flex (13a decent
power rating) - I need to fit longer leads to some 4-way extension
leads due to moving house!!!

Hi all, I'm looking for a few things today -

First of all I'm looking for a Fridge if anyone has a spare one lying
about that still works as I had to put mines in the skip this morning
and dont have one anymore.

I'm also looking for a PC tower as mines has decided to pack up and not
work anymore.

Also if anyone has a spare Tumble Dryer as mines went in the skip this
morning also.

Lastly if anyone has a spare dog/cat bed as my cat just had kittens and
theyre growing out of the moses basket we have them in at the minute.

I'm in Forfar and could pick up from almost anywhere, if anyone could
help me it would be much appreciated and I'd be very grateful.

Im soon off to greece and was wondering if anyone had some spare euros
knocking about that they don't want/can't use.

i'm not sure if i was a mod i would have allowed the above, wondered what anyone else thought?

On the issue of wanted posts, if you go on Bedford freecycle it is mostly wanteds, the occasional offered (snapped up and gone in seconds)and very rarely recieveds (with thanks). The same people tend to offer and everyone else just seems to want, want, want. The trouble is, the offered stuff is gone in a flash (specially the tvs) so what choice is there? :mad:

i would very politely email the mods, and advise them that you feel there are far too many wanteds going through, and couldn't a limit be made on them. with no satisfactory response, email the wider group (addy is on the main freecycle page) and see what they think.
there is alway the problem with offereds going fast, its one of the reasons, as i've mentioned before, i put on all my offereds that i won't chose for 24 hours, to give everyone a chance, as some people only get on in evening, or during the day, so feel this gives a fairer chance. i just wish others would do it, as i only have access during the day, i miss the chance of a lot of what is offered in the evening as there are always takens posted again before morning.

:eek: :eek: I JUST don't know what the mods are on sometimes! This is BEGGING!!:eek: It's a bit different if you were say asking for defunct bank notes/coins from european countries to go to charity, but purlease!!
