Apparently the moron who threw a bottle onto the track just as they were starting the 100m final has been named as 34 year old Ashley Gill-Webb from a village very close to my own.

I'd like to propose a by-law whereby any local resident may slap him round the back of the head with impunity whenever he is encountered for the next five years. Mindless idiot.

    :T:T

and non-locals too should he venture out of the village again!!;)

What about stained glass window biscuits?

I've seen somewhere you can make a stained glass effect by baking/ melting different colours of boiled sweets within a biscuit mix. Try googling it? Or does Jumblejack know?
    Hope is not a strategy.

Afternoon/evening. Went to S this morning and picked up 6 more beer. Only 1 coupon would scan (as is the norm now) so i trotted to CS and got the other coupons refunded back on my card. My 3 yr old had picked up a chocolate "cars" cake as a treat. He held it until we'd done out shopping and driven to my friends house and luckily I put it on a plate instead of letting him eat it from the wrapper.... it's was bloomin mouldy with green bits on and a best before date of 21st June  It was quite disgusting. I fobbed him off with a hobnob biscuit instead but am fuming:mad: about S selling something like that, so blatantly out of date and for kids. where do i stand? I don't think a 49p refund is/will be good enough. Am i best to write to H/O instead of going into store do you think?

Thats disgusting. Speak to Head office. Tell them You would have gone back to the store but being you are pregnant dont think the stress is good for you .
    Poor bairn :(

Now being a northerner, (but Lancashire, not Yorkshire), I grew up hearing "put wood in'th 'ole" - i.e close the door. Made me smile when you put that Dr V :D
They call you that to let you know they like you, if they dont like you they'll just ignore you.
    I like Yorkshire people.

And i then lived in Yorkshire for 5 years so got accustomed to the other side of the Pennines :rotfl:
