Afternoon/evening. Went to S this morning and picked up 6 more beer. Only 1 coupon would scan (as is the norm now) so i trotted to CS and got the other coupons refunded back on my card. My 3 yr old had picked up a chocolate "cars" cake as a treat. He held it until we'd done out shopping and driven to my friends house and luckily I put it on a plate instead of letting him eat it from the wrapper.... it's was bloomin mouldy with green bits on and a best before date of 21st June :eek: It was quite disgusting. I fobbed him off with a hobnob biscuit instead but am fuming:mad: about S selling something like that, so blatantly out of date and for kids. where do i stand? I don't think a 49p refund is/will be good enough. Am i best to write to H/O instead of going into store do you think?

Take photos of cake and wrapping and write to S HQ and send them off.

Afterwards I would then ring your store, ask when store manager is about and then go and show him the cake as well
