All that warm weather got me out in the garden too yesterday afternoon.
And boy do my legs and back know it this morning!

It's such a mess out there. Hoping to paint the fence today if it stays dry and make at least one trip to the tip.
...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

Nice and sunny here but a bit chilly so far. One load of washing on the line. I've tidied round but doesn't really need vacuuming. Veg prepared for dinner.

My washing just seems to be never ending, amount I have done over last 2 days thought that would be it, but no there is more! 2nd load of today now in, problem is getting it all dry, lines full and so are airers, it's sunny but not particularly warm up here and took all day to get one line full dry yesterday. I was considering going out today, might do this afternoon when I get what I can done. Kids are off for 2 weeks so not overly concerned about having weekends free as DP is off Sunday-Wednesday but is out all day today.

Kitchens messy but nothing that won't take half an hour with my backside in gear (which it isn't at the mo as full of cold) to sort it.

  • I've cleaned inside the car and found 22p.

I thought we had some no more nails, but I can't find it, so that might be mending the fence crossed off the list for today.

Over the next few weeks our old garden shed is coming down and being replaced with a new metal one. The fence behind has trellis at the top and that needs mending in places.

This morning I have taken down the honeysuckle which was growing up one side (it has rooted in the border further along so it should grow again). I had to saw it at the bottom because it was so thick. Filled the green wheelie bin ready to be emptied on Tuesday. I think my back will be complaining later, but I do feel accomplished!

Hello - very quiet here over the weekend, cannot hear much flapping, guess everyone is saving themselves for tomorrows list!

After a wonky couple of weeks (although everything was kept tidy) I am well and truly back on board. I love having a tidy house, it calms me (sad I know). Had someone wanted to view our house this morning with 5 mins notice and I knew everything was good to go so was not a problem. The woman with the 4 bed for sale in our street could not let them view till 1.30 and as they were travelling back up country they could not wait that long! He he he, felt so smug knowing that her place was a tip and needed tidying and that I was able to say oh yeah pop round straight away (I work at the EA selling both properties by the way - and know from internal pics that hers is a bit flylady challenged shall we say!!)

Am hoping for good weather this week as DD1 not got pre-school and am hoping to give garden another going over, did do it week or so ago but its over 100ft long and although mostly laid to lawn the flowerbeds need to be kept on top off!

Right off for a mooch round!
