Ive been trying to load the Kaspersky off Barclays bank----did have it on the pc a couple of years ago but didnt renew it for some reason,,,,have tryed to get it back on there and lappy and it wont work...when I fill out the forms the bottom bit where you type in the code you see in the box, keeps saying Ive done it wrong--and I havent...exactly same as shown,,,Tryed it as a renewal and a new customer...am bit worried as you can see from my other thread about facebook/virus etc that something wont let me load it..What can I do ?

What about the 30 day Trial, does that work?
  • No- it doesnt work....still says Im putting in code wrong..

  • I personally use Avast!, which I find to be good for my extensive online browsing. I also use Firefox as browser and do scans with Malware Bytes and Revo Unistaller. I also use windows firewall.

Previously I have used antivira (didn't seem to detect some viruses) and AVG (which slowed my computer at the time down considerably, untill I changed anti-virus programs). I also used Zone Alarm firewall previously, which only seemed to load up half of the time.

You don't need to put a code in to the Trial version. :) You get 30 days for free.

Anyway, look here for more info.

    You clearly are...

Perhaps you can talk us through the steps you have taken so far. Which version is currently installed and which solution was installed previously.

Another option is to activate via Key File.

Its on an going problem i cannot register with the correct number but if i change the last digit to a wrong one it will register but then it fails the customer validation as unknown account .
Been like that for two years plus .
Still i would rather a paid for KISS than no KISS at all .

Why Kaspersky well based upon AV Comparatives testing over a number of years its my preferred choice or Eset .

Have you turned off / removed ALL AV products before trying to load KAV?

Have you tried loading and running Malwarebytes before loading this?

Going back to the OP's original enquiry, a thumbs-up for Kaspersky and Avast here:
