im going to stay in a cottage in wales with family (my mum, stepdad and there 3 kids, me and my 3 kids) i am taking my slow cooker for 2 reasons a so we have a hot meal ready if we go out and b cuase im trying to convince my mum is worth buying one
if you have a slow cooker i would take it, went to haven (primrose valley) 2 years ago if we had spent the day doing things last thing we wanted was too cook a meal, we ended up eating in the restaurants most nightsDFW nerd club number 039'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' :money: i will be debt free aug 2010

For a four night break you'll not want to take too much!
Towels & loo roll
Elec heaters - timer plug if you have one too!
Basic staples - sauce, salt & pepper etc
Took variety pack of cereal - kids love them - only justify them on holiday!
Plan something quick and easy for lunch - its your holiday too! We always went along the lines of soup/beans/egg on toast.
For meals - think frozen! I always made up meals at home, then froze them, took them down frozen, then had one for every night - much easier than trying to take all the ingredients with me and usually could then fit all food in one cardboard box. Meals such as - pie, lasagne, spag bol,

Are they providing the bed linen for you? Make sure they are.
Remember to take towels for swimming and for washing - you won't get much dry without using £££s in the tumble dryers.
Teatowel and kitchen towel
Soap, loo rolls, washing up liquid, Kitchen roll, tissues - just pick up what's at home cos it will be tonz cheaper than in site shop if you forget it.
Jam, marg, ketchup, beans, bread, cereal, squash. We always make sure we take those from home so we have basics at least.

Many thanks for all your replies just to let you know.....
"Hafan y Môr" is the place we're going to & have upgraded to an apartment...linen provided. Some have suggested taking jumpers for the little ones as it may get chilli...not sure?0 -
We've just arrived back today from a 3 night break at Hafan Y Mor. We stopped in a caravan with the linen provided. Definately take some jumpers or little cardigans as even though we had lovely weather, it did get chilly by the front and at night. We didnt need to take heaters though, as the heating in the caravan was brill. There is a asda near by, I presume you're driving, its about five minutes away in a car, if you take a left leaving the site and just keep going till you hit the roundabout you cant miss it, they've got nearly everything you'll need. We took loads of stuff with us, filling up the boot and the knees of everyone, and once we'd found Asda we said that if we went again we would just take little bits, and buy at Asda. Maybe do a search for Asda and Tesco on their sites, and it should show the nearest ones. We really enjoyed this weekend away and would go again, but be warned, the noise level at the kids night entertainment can get pretty noisy, even my kids had earache, lol. Enjoy!0
