Yes, it seems that you should. Phone them again and ask them to check for you. Making a note of the time you phoned and the name of the individual you spoke to of course, just in case.I upgraded 2 of my accounts on Wednesday. However when I click on the blue upgrade button, it offers to upgrade me to the Silver account. Should I be concerned that they haven't been upgraded?0 -

I would say, yes, be worried. I too sorted it on the phone and 1 out of 3 of mine wasn't upgraded.0 -
I thought that my 3 hadn't been done, but when I rang up I was told that it takes 24 hours to set up - when I checked back after 24 hours had elapsed they were all OK (ie got the error message on trying to upgrade)0

Upgraded 3 of my Vantage accounts yesterday over the phone. She did it whilst I was on the phone. I opened 2 off Tesco Internet saver accounts registered for online banking and arranged DDs.

I have six Vantage accounts, and have been nervous about ringing up to grab the 4%, in case LTSB decide to cut me back a bit.
Anyone know if I can upgrade all six (will have to juggle some DDs, that's for sure!)?0 -
I worked on the basis of "Don't ask, don't get" and have managed to get my 5 accounts upgraded. I thought the worst they could do is say no to the extra 2 accounts, but they didn't.
Not sure what you mean by that. If you mean they will see you've got 6 accounts and the rules say only 3, then the best answer i read was to simply say you opened them before the max of 3 was introduced (which is indeed the case)in case LTSB decide to cut me back a bit.0 -
It seems that they'll only do three. But another poster on here has manged to get five account converted.I have six Vantage accounts, and have been nervous about ringing up to grab the 4%, in case LTSB decide to cut me back a bit.

From replies on here, you will initially be allowed to upgrade 3 of them. You won't be told to close the remianing 3. You can then phone back later and say "I want to upgrade 2 or 3 of my accounts and tell them the other 2 or 3 account numbers are the ones you want upgraded and hope that the operator does not realise the the first 3 have already been upgraded. A poster did this hereinfo_addict wrote: »No, I was logged on whilst i made the call. After the call I logged off and then back on again and bingo error messages on my last 2 accounts
It was the 0800 number posted on this thread, just search this thread for 0800 and it's in the first result.
I just said I'd like to upgrade 2 of my accounts to the 4% rate and the DD's were in progress. She told me I could upgrade 3 of my 5, but I said just 2 would be fine
. She mustn't have seen my other 3 were already upgraded0 -
We also opened a vantage on the phone, it took ages to do, and the operator then said they can only open one account over the phone per phonecall - whether that is true or just the call centre agent trying to stop having such a huge length of phonecall which would mess up their weekly average and then be under pressure from the team leader to "do better in future" we don't know but I assumed it was the latter. It's easier to open them in the branch. I had mine opened within 20 mins and the advisor did the rest without me being there and they set up the standing order for £1000 between all my accounts for me..0
