You will get up to 4% AER between now and 31/12/2013 on each of your Vantage accounts provided that- you have 2 DDs on each of the accounts by 31/10/2012
- you have confirmation from Lloyds that you have been upgraded to the 4% offer on each of the accounts
- you have between £5000 and £6000 in each of the accounts
The interest gets calculated daily and will be added to each of your accounts monthly.
If you have met above pre-reqs but your balance drops below £5K in any account at any time, you will get the lower interest rate (see Lloyds website for details) for that account.
If you do not have 2 DDs on an account by 31/10/2012, or do not have confirmation from Lloyds that you have been upgraded, you will not get the 4% on that account, even if your balance is between £5K and £6K.0 -

You need to fill in this form http://www.santander.co.uk/csgs/StaticBS?blobcol=urldata&blobheader=application%2Fpdf&blobkey=id&blobtable=MungoBlobs&blobwhere=1223418328231&cachecontrol=immediate&ssbinary=true&maxage=3600
and send it with a "statement" from your Lloyds account (to prove you are the account holder) to the address on the form.
I had originally sent that form without statement since I ain't got a statement - - just to have it returned by Santander with a request for the statement.....I have sent it off again yesterday with a print of the online view of my Lloyds account, and a cheque for £1, drawn from the Lloyds account concerned. Luckily, I had requested a cheque book for that account a week ago - - normally don't have any cheque book. I have yet to hear back from Santander but am confident they will set up the DD now0 -
A bit off topic, but... the Bank of Scotland have a Vantage account too, very similar to LTSB, has any one got one of these too?

Pretty much the same as the 'old' Lloyds Vantage. Maybe if they change to the new they'll be another avenue for opening more accounts and making the most of the 4%0

WOW - - - £36K @ 4% AER.... now that would be awesome, even if it lasted just for a year.....0

Seems that other institutions linked, such as those in the Yorkshire BS group, so Barnsley and Chelsea offer identical accounts.0 -

Just to add to what innovate has said
You have to ask for this 4% to be applied. You can do this by phone or by visiting branch (UGH is my experience ) You won't get 4% automatically just because you meet all the requirements -that would be too simple0
