    Just read the terms and conditions and existing customers can ask for the same interest rates at their local branch.

    They can also make a coffee, relax on the sofa, and call them on a freephone number as I, and many others, did. Then again, if you want the exercise... ;)

    No need to go out of your way to visit a branch.

    No need to queue and then sit through an account review (aka selling opportunity), when all you want them to do is add the 4% tariff to your account.

    Did they just upgrade it to 4% @ £6000 over the phone on your existing current account or did you have to open another.

    They added the 4% tariff to all 3 of my existing Vantage accounts last Monday evening, on the day of launch.

    My DDs weren't even set up at that time. Even now, nearly a week later, only one account has 2 DDs showing...yet I've rung them today and they've confirmed all my accounts have the 4% 'markers' on them.

    0800 015 4000, the number recommended in this thread for 'upgraders', is manned 8am to 6pm on weekends

    I'm just wondering, was it really necessary for TSB to send me a thick envelope with "Welcome to your new classic account with Vantage" along with a "Getting started" guide? I'm sure the "Vantage 4% Eligibility and terms and conditions" would have been enough.

    Though I suppose at least they mentioned the 4%, and not just sent out the bogo standard documents that only mention 3%.

    Well I got 3 of the old packs with the 3% top rate on. I was not impressed either.
