The 4% finishes October 31st. I presumed that the 3% would also likely expire, if it doesnt - I would be very surprised if they kept the same interest rate.
What makes you presume this? Do you have any inside information?

I think I will pick Santander 123 account before opening Lloyds Classic Vantage (If its still 3x3% on £5K). Would rather have more money (£22K as opposed to £15K max) getting the same interest in one big account, rather than 3 separate ones.
You seem to be sure that Santander are keeping their 3%. Do you have any inside information? Santander is max £20K, btw.

Do you have two DDs running and £1000 in every month?
    Yes, we do.

Presumed purely on the basis that the Vantage account has been going on a while, also with the rates going as they are, would've been surprised for them to keep it at 3% for much longer if they could get away with giving the customer less. (Wouldn't be too surprised if BoS and Santander go this way too). These are the only attractive rate savings accounts out there at the moment, that I have seen atleast. All the others appear to be 1.5-2.5% interest.

No inside info. In fact as said above, doubt they will have this offer going for too much longer.

They might be thinking that they don't mind 3% on upto 5K, and how many people have 3 Vantage accounts? Considering they offer vouchers to pay wanting to move their account away from them, it depends on how much they value their customers.

Although I wouldn't be surprised to see the T&Cs of the Vantage changing to say that you need both 1K per month and at least 2 DDs to get the interest (like we do now for the 4%)

My 3 vantage accounts (and my OH 3 accounts) have all got the blue "upgrade" button back again for the first time since conversion took place....
The "upgrade" button is an indication that the special offer is not applied to your accounts....
And No interest has been paid in today....

Have you checked yours? Have you received interest today?

Interest is credited at the end of the first working day of the month expect to see it around 11pm.

Isn't that the old 'run' time? I thought nowadays they'd postponed the 'run' until between 0100 and 0300 the following day, but backdated to the previous day.

Thanks, I got the interset now....
Still the upgrade buttons are back... Lets hope they have just fixed a bug and have not reset everyones accounts so as not to get 4%

Its calculated daily, so it depends on the amount of days in the month.
