You could try spraying the seatbelts with anti-chew spray containing bitrex.

Might as well tell you that my Lab' chewed and clawed his way out of my daughter's bedroom via the door after he locked himself in the room:rotfl:

Op I hope the scrapyard faeries are good to you:D
    I'm not that way reclined

Jewelry? Seriously? Sheldon you are the most shallow, self-centered person I have ever met. Do you really think that another transparently-manipu... OH, IT'S A TIARA! A tiara; I have a tiara! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me!

  • Think positively - Mutt obviously loves you.

Or she'd have been carefully chewing through your seatbelt.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Doesn't work. As my dining room chairs will testify. And she can get a muzzle off in 2 seconds flat - they don't fit well due to her stupid shaped head.

Samuala66 - a quick tally off the top of my head in the 12 years i've had her.
3 rugs, countless shoes, belts etc, 3 seatbelts ( I know, I'm a slow learner!), a dining room suite, a rocking chair, a wooden fireguard, the front door frame, several handbags, too much post to quantify (pre letter cage), two electric cables (one lamp, one fire), several leads and harnesses, 2 plastic dog beds, innumerable blankets and cushions.............
but at least she's never started on the walls. :A
Hope that helps with your decision making. :D
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

I'll swap you for a one year old jack russell chihuahua X.

SO far she's chewed her way through an entire collection of beanie babies, unidentifiable lumps of plastic (assuming they were DD's toys at some point), rubbers, pens and pencils galore....I could go on.

Fortunately she's too small for chewing through walls, doors etc....though I wouldn't put it past her!

If it makes you feel any better my Mum's old alsation Megan chewed her way through an ironing board (the metal part), she managed to get a frozen turkey out of a (locked) freezer. The results of that particular episode were interesting! My Dad lost count of the amount of times he had to crouch behind her and help various socks, tea towels and knickers on their passage out

    Oh dear....

Zara never ever destroyed anything at all since she was a little pup - then she ate by best pair of shoes and chewed a corner of a bedside table. Honest to God that is all she has ever done in terms of damage.

Gonna go and give her a cuddle now.. she is the best dog ever ;)
