Whiplash Claim - How much to expect & how to claim?

Seems about average. Whiplash claims are so common now I think I heard somewhere that the amount you will get was capped, although I'm not 100% on that so don't quote me on it : )
If you're still in pain have you asked about physio sessions? Money isn't going to make the pain go away, but appropriate treatment will. When I had whiplash from somebody driving into the back of my car I was referred to a physio after having an initial consultation with the doctors & had around 15 sessions in the end. They suggested exercises for me to do every night before bed & after being sat at my desk all day in work, both helped a lot.0 -

I have a claim going through now I have been offered £1400-£1600 that is the most I will receive even though I sm in a lot of neck pain still
If you are not recovering in line with the prognosis in the medical report, then DO NOT agree a settlement at this stage.
Sounds like you are probably being pressured to agree a settlement by the solicitor you were referred to by your insurer? You are the client and they act on YOUR instructions, so if your injuries are not improving, hold fire on settlement.
£1400-£1600 is about what a 3-4 month whiplash claim is worth. Was treatment recommended? Have you had any treatment such as physio? (assuming we are talking about a neck or back injury here)0
