  • If you can afford it, try laser hair removal (IPL)

    hi,
I had laser treatment , found it helped, but was painful.
Lately tried boots ipulse. Not cheap, but almost painfree, and whilst not all of the hair has gone yet, it is much finer and less prolific. much cheaper than going to the salon, though takes quite a while to use.

I just shave every day or two, like a dude. I have maybe 15 dark hairs on my chin and they don't grow fast enough for me to get stubble by the afternoon and sometimes not by the next morning, so if you can get over the masculinity factor, maybe daily shaving could work for you depending on rate of growth.

You are lucky that you're just getting them now. I've not in my thirties yet but I've had this problem since I was 16.
  • I'm the same, i've had to wax my top lip and chin since i was 17! Thank you family for Eastern European hairy genetics!

I have tried waxing and threading and find threading is much better for my skin. The only bit i find that hurts is the middle bit on the top lip.

I go twice a month and bleach with Joleen (sp?) inbetween.

Not even sure I can blame genetics...none of the other women in my family are furry like me. I guess I'm just that lucky.

I use the Jolene cream for bleaching my arms. It works pretty well but I do wonder if it's safe for the skin to be bleaching such large areas every month or two.

Ebid, for about £40 (as opposed to the £70 you can see on other sites). I'll be checking all the ingredients when it arrives to make sure it's not a fake :p The seller has a good reputation, it seems, so I hope my confidence in purchasing proves justified.

Just noticed there's 15% off on Ebid :) Still can't decide if I want to fork out the money.
Have you tried it yet and what do you think of it?

  • Solution of your problem is simple, you may opt for IPL laser hair removal process, you can use it at home yourself.:j

Hello everyone, OH bought me a nono for our anniversary (I was actually quite pleased, not a romantic present no but very practical). I have used it every day for 3 days and have noticed a slight difference. Yesterday was the first time I didn't have hairs I could feel growing back in. I can feel the hairs today so after leaving it yesterday I'm going to use it today. I've gone back through the reviews for them and although they are 50% negative the ones that are positive say perseverence is the key.

I will update regularly let you all know how I get on.

  • Is this any good??? I've seen it before but never known whether it was worth buying or not...

Nono update:- Right since my last update I have used this 3 times on my face, legs and bikini line

Face:- I could feel some hairs the next day after using this but my face was definitely less sore using this than waxing. Although one hair which is particularly coarse went up in smoke which was quite scary! The growth is slower which is a bonus and I'm not left with that red rash you get from constantly plucking!

Bikini line:- Most of the hairs went the first time, the remaining went the second time. I have a little regrowth now though.

Legs:- I think this is the area that might take the longest. The fine hair above the knees went on the first use. The hair on my lower leg is taking longer. I wasn't totally hair free even after using it 3 times. I couldn't see the hair so would have gotten away with wearing a skirt short etc but I could feel the hair.
