I was tempted to subscribe to Marie Claire because you supposedly get an Avene set free worth £45. Then I read the small print which says that it only goes to the first 600, so I'm not going to bother. I did send an email for the free serum but I'm not holding my breath!3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -
One UU to report - S & G Mist You Madly body spray 100ml
probably won't buy again as I am bored with S & G. I've started using an Elle Macpherson Glow body spray. I've had other items from this range and not keen on the fragrance, prefer Bare. However, it has grown on me a little and it's only a small spray so I'll try to persevere with it for a while.
I found an S & G 75ml Clean on Me shower gel that looked as though it had gone 'off' IYKWIM. It looked as though it had separated so I've put it in the handwash bottle. It probably would have been fine to use as shower gel but the look of it was a bit off putting. It's strange because I don't think it had ever been opened so don't understand how it could have gone off.
One in to report. 15ml The Green Balm. It was recommended on here so doesn't really count! I'm going to give it a go on my problem nose and a dry patch on my chin. I am sure I must have night cream somewhere but can't find any but am going to hold off from buying any for now and just make do with moisturiser. My skin isn't that dry, apart from the problem patches and hopefully the balm will help with that.3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -

I have 2 UU tonight and hopefully more tomorrow
Benefit Its Potent eye cream sachet - thank you to my swap buddy really liked this.
Ren Frankincense Revitalising Night Cream 5ml - one of my minis from the Ren deal really liked it.
These are all going on my buy again list which will eventually get narrowed down to HG items.0 -
I didn't join in last month (v. busy) but was very good! One UU and Elemis pro collagen face mask and my S&G facial cleanser is very nearly finished (it's OK but I probably wouldn't get it again) like noelphobic I'm a bit S&G'd out.
One in, I got a vial of argan oil from Primark, not tried it before but at a pound I thought it would be a cheap way to test out the product.0 -
one UU, un-named perfume that was a free gift with some other stuff from Pabo. WIB? possibly - I really didnt expect much from it, but it was actually quite nice!!!
two splutterers as well - the Balance Me moisturiser and eye cream both spluttered this morning. so not UUs yet - but tomorrow or Sat I reckon....
oh - and Grape is out in the field again, in a super dooper rug, and with electrified (until someone decides they need it more than me) fencing - so far, so good.... oh and Red says hi everyone !!Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -
I go camping next week so I will be taking 2 travel size Champneys skin comforting shower gels, 1 travel size shampoo and 2 conditioners. We come back for one day then go to Chester for 2 nights, as we are staying in a hotel I will be taking a mini Mandara spa Amber Heaven bubble bath, body cream and shower gel and also their Citrus Spice shower gel ( this is one of the nicest smelling shower gels I use, a gentle citrus with a hint of nutmeg - divine).
The BBC weather on line is annoying me, whenever I look at the 5 days ahead of the current 5 days it shows rain, cloud and sun for everyday and they have been doing this for weeks. If they cannot forecast ahead I wish they would just say so as I can't cope with another wet camping trip and am beginning to panic.
Will try to remember to have a sniff of that Mandara spa shower gel when I'm in Sainsbury's later. Looks like I may have to find an alternative to the Philosophy Pumpkin Spice/Harvest Spice fragrance that I like as I've seen only a small bottle of a similar fragrance on the US site.
Hope the weather does buck up for you.Have rearranged holiday toiletries yet again and its a while till we go.
I went through that chocolate tin last night and managed to purge three products form it in the form of 2 x cans of body spray (both felt very light and probably only had one spray left in each!) and a cut open tube of Holland & Barrett Aloe Vera gel (I've already packed one of these). Emma would not let me leave anything else out of it. Why she feels she needs 8 bottles of nail lacquer I don't know!!
I changed the Elemis Frangipani shower gel for a bottle of TBS Morrocan rose and matching body butter.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
