Where do you buy exfotonic from Ruby? I tried looking for it a while ago as it came highly recommended to me for the treatment of kp.

    What's kp?

Keratosis Pilaris; basically those little bumps you get on your arms from where the hair follicles become clogged and it looks like a rash. You can get it on your legs as well (have had it on the backs of my thighs before)

  • wow, I'm always amazed at how fast this thread moves!! Hugs n stuff to whoever needs them!!

I'm in again this month, no INs so far and a UU to report :)

Nivea Pearl&Beauty deodorant spray, WIBA probably, I seem to keep going back to Nivea, I have a roll on and another spray in the stash so no need to buy anymore at present.

Tater - this really made me laugh!! Have just txt my mum to tell her what you said about me and she's called back to say shes smiling - she went into hospital this am for an op. So, thankyou very much for bringing a smile to my mums face!!

No in's/ out's/ UU for me - things seem to be slow at the moment.

    Hope everyone is OK

I'm glad I can raise a smile! I have been in your position and understand how horribly hard it can be. I hope everything works out well for you :)

Scrappie - thinking of you and sending lots of love to both you and your Mum today xxx

Dolly84 - heehee! I have a very odd life - I barely go out but when I do it tends to be for something that seems extraordinary :o I've retained an absolute sense of wonder/enthusiasm for these special outings though, which I think is lucky. The friend working with Derren Brown is my closest friend - I've known him since we were 11. It's turning out to be a very happy experience for him - apparently DB is lovely :)

VALM - I really hope that you like the eye-liner. I feel rather responsible! I'm glad that Ems said she likes it too :) I looked up the tin that Emma has put her make up in  It's lucky you don't have any baggage restrictions :rotfl:

    Maddiemay
    - my outing is beginning to catch up with me :o It's so odd that there is a delay but it seems to be a common thing with M.E. (it's referred to as 'Post-Extertional Malaise'). The 'payback' tends to kick in 48 hours later - I think it's to do with my body not being able to restore my energy properly (at a cellular level). Also, if I go out I tend to be running on adrenaline and that's no good for anyone and takes a while to get out of the system. The show was worth the payback though :)

I'm sure there was more that I wanted to reply to but my brain has turned to jelly! :rotfl:

I'm hoping for more used ups this week. Lots of splutterers! I feel like I'm making progress again. I've painted my nails with the Maybelline Pro in Really Rosy. I doubt that it will last 7 days (even with base and top coat) but it's a very pretty colour :) If I like the formula I have my eye on some other colours whilst it's 3 for 2 (they're £4.09 each normally). I wish Boots said how long their offers run for...

I hope that everyone is having the best day possible.

1 UU last night - a strawberry souffle face mask that I found lurking in the bottom of my stash draw. I didn't really enjoy the smell of this, way too sweet and cloying but it did leave my skin feeling lovely and soft.

Another freebie in Estee Lauder Perfectionist Serum 7ml - quite glad this came starting to run low on day serums (but have loads of night repair ones).

    Hi All,

One UU, hopefully more soon as a few splutterers also but hard to know how long it'll be before they give out altogether. The UU is St Tropez Body Moisturizer - WMBA - like the smell and the lightweight formula but its only a maybe as by the time I get through the body lotion mountain I want something REALLY nice as a reward! :D

Was just about to say I'd still had no IN yet this month but realised I bought a couple of hair colours today as I needed one and they were on offer so will have the conditioners out of those x 2 - I think I got L'Oreal Recital Preference in Caracas (too lazy to check :o). I usually use Excell 10 in Chocolate Brown but my local Boots has randomly stopped selling it like they did my L'oreal HG foundation so decided to try something new.

I always found the Excell 10 great and loved the fast development time but noticed its pretty much slated in most reviews on the Boots website for turning people's fair hair black (any shade I think) so that may have something to do with it . . . Will give this other one a whirl, I don't think I've tried it before. There's no point in me using a brand they don't stock in my local Boots as I only ever think to get it when I actually need it i.e. my scattered greys are showing through!

Hope everyone is good, looking forward to a relaxing evening after a hectic day

    Ems

Another No Spend Day (toiletries etc) today, that's 5 so far this month.

Feeling very proud of our Yorkshire lads winning Gold and Bronze in the Triathalon this afternoon. Unfortunately our village won't be getting a gold post box as they come from Bramhope.

    A small UU:

Ole Henriksen Invigorating Night Gel sample pot - WBA except its extortionately priced! It reminded me of La Roche Posay's Effalcar Duo - it's a gel texture that has quite a dry/tightening feeling but seems to dry up any white heads etc.

I need you all to rally me and cheer me on now... I am finally reaching the last dregs of my Origins Zero Oil cleanser, I think I bought it based on recommendations from some of you but my god, I am bored of it now. Theres nothing wrong with it but I've been using this twice a day for MONTHS. Infact I have a whole Elemis skin set waiting to be used as a reward for finishing this, I've held out from opening any of it :D
