Re- living in caravan

Hi RAS,
our static cost just over 20k. It was 2 years old when we bought it 3 years ago. We can sell privately if we wish till the van is 15 years old after which we have to sell back to the site management. There is no requirement to upgrade after a certain number of years, all they ask is that it kept neat and tidy.
Our site sells a good range of vans from about 5K to 40K.0 -

A very old, second hand holiday static caravan might set you back £8K, but a residential mobile home on a year round residential park is more likely to cost you £80K+ (where I live in the SE, you'd be looking at a minimum of £150K for an old one bedroom). There's a big difference beween a holiday park and a residential park, and suffice to say it's not possible to live year round on a holiday park (legally or practically).
We have a holiday static caravan, and whilst we love it for holidays, I personally wouldn't ever want to live in one full time, especially not with children. Despite all the plush interiors, they are effectively tin boxes standing in a field at the end of the day.0 -
no not 80k i have found plenty of brand new statics/lodges etc for 10k up to 30k for a real decent one0

.....You could always buy a bit of green belt land & get a ground crew in over the bank holiday weekend. It would take ages to move you on....I know, bad taste. Sorry
