    Ok thanks for the advice

This takes a lot of the fun out of it doesn't it.

Sorry about the receipt somone ^^asked if I had one - but you are correct it is NOT for this particular bag so would be dishonest. I just don't understand why Ebay can't apply common sense - It's like saying primark jeans are fake because you don't like them. There is enough evidence in the many pictures on the listing to show how geuinue it is.

I'll let you all know how I get on - Many thanks again for your invaluable advice on this.

Just to go off on a tangent a little, just because Radley aren't up there with the Mulberry of the bag world doesn't mean there aren't fakes around.

There are plenty of fake Radley bags about, and not the limited edition ones either. The easiest to fake are the plain black style bags. Strangely I was in my local charity shop the other week and picked up a plain black Radley cross body bag priced up at £2. Obviously the ladies in the store knew just what a poor copy it was. Probably one of the worst fakes I have ever seen in my life and I admit to being a little shocked that they sold it on!

Erm of course I said it was Radley.

By bog standard I mean not a huge designer (ie not a Dior or Marc Jacobs, Fendi et that are ususally faked and you buy in Turkey etc)

This was a plain black work bag - not a picture bag, not a Radley Ltd Editition.

They were unhappy from the start. They emailed to say they were disapointed that it was sent Special Delivery as their sorting office is miles away (checked and they had already signed that day and so were in), then it was damaged (no proof provided), now it is fake.

err no need for the attitude, I was trying to help.

Bog standard is hardly a term most people would give to a used bag selling a £60 with the name in the title.

If the name means nothing as you are suggesting you were daft to include it as it wasn't a selling point and has only given the buyer an option to claim it is fake.

And no way can you tell if the item was picked up at the local office or signed at the door, just by the fact it was signed for on the same day.

Sounds to me you two were made for each other.

Just a thought - have you checked their feedback to see if this is something they have tried on a regular basis, in that they buy an item and then try to get their money back? If they have this might be something else you can put forward when trying to sort out the dispute.

It's all settled - It was another bag she purchased a Paddington from another seller - she has closed the dispute and apologised (left feedback).

But my stars went down for description still though - but not enought to be given a really low number.

Thank you again to those who helped it was appreciated.
