Thanks for getting me started, jj. I've not done stacks, but it's got me going and I'll carry on after a short break with a glass of water.

So far I've made our bed, put recycling bins out, cleared a few bits in the kitchen, put decluttered items in car boot for CS and skip, made toast for DS2 and taken some clothes upstairs.

Hope the little moos and anyone else under the weather continues to improve and everyone has a good day. I think the TD will be in action here today, as it doesn't seem to be brightening up and the next shower is already looming.

Bump, crash, thud, I have finally caught up with myself, began to think my head was going one way and my body the other. :rotfl:

LW and Helen if you are meeting up, count me in too, provided I am not working or can skive out of work for a bit, I am not far away! :rotfl: I promise to behave............ LW I went to Bletchley Park earlier in the year, I enjoyed it, but some parts all the history type stuff, I personally found heavy going, make sure you take your wheel chair with you, as there is a lot of walking if you want to see the whole site.

Mumto5 I would get all the ££ I could out of them, then tell them to stuff their job.

    Triker welcome back.

Pigpen I can sign photos etc, except I don't really know you in real life so to speak! :rotfl:

All the daily type stuff is upto date

On Sunday gone I blitzed the whole house, so that is still in fair order.

    In my HHC I

    - hoovered and washed ensuite, bathroom, downstairs WC and kitchen floors
    - hoovered our bedroom, stairs, hall and breakfast room
    cleared the coffee table
    - made a mug of coffee, which I am now enjoying with a hot X bun (half price in @ldi yesterday, and still fresh)

    Now I just have to
    - finish my coffee ( no rush, then!)
    - hoover the sitting room and study and empty the Dyson
    - dust the sitting room
    - make cakes (Victoria sponge and tea loaf) and Twink's hobnob biscuits without spilling anything on my nice clean kitchen floor!
    - prepare evening meal: we have friends coming at 3.30 and stopping to eat with us
    - do the charity Gift Aid claim

Then I can sit down and do the picot edging on DGD's cardigan (which I sewed up last night) whilst watching the Olympics
    :-))

  • Hi Juliejim, Ionafan and Sammiell, I joined in just after 10am too, but didn't post.

My HHC lasted 50 mins, and I:

    Cleaned bathroom
    Emptied DW
Wiped kitchen surfaces and front of units
    S&S in both bedrooms
Put load of towels in WM

OH sorted out rubbish, tidied some stuff away, repaired and re-hung a picture I knocked off the wall and devoted 10 mins to brushing the cat, who LOVES him!

Have had a shower and OH made me a cuppa and I'm now watching the rowing. I'm really enjoying the Olympics!

Still got this virus and had a really bad night with coughing, but do actually feel a bit better today.

Also fed the birds - a smorgasbord of birdies today! At the feeders there were two doves, one magpie, three baby starlings, a baby robin (orange rather than redbreast) and one little bluetit - who I think was a baby as he was so pale. (Just needed a partridge in a pear tree!!)

Good vibes to all those feeling poorly and I hope you all have a good day. X

    Hi All

We've been away for a few days. Back now so I'm in again. Thankfully I left the house nice and tidy before we went and have already done all the unpacking and caught up on washing so not starting off too far behind! Will find a list in a mo and see where I'm up to...

Have quickly skim read the thread so just want to say thanks to Dustykitten and juliejim for last week's and this week's list and hope the poorly little ones feel better soon bossymoo.

mrs-moneypenny - So sorry to hear your sad news. Thinking of you and all the family. I've been where you are now a few years ago so I know how hard it is - be kind to yourself xxx
