DD seems fine - am impressed really as it was quite a rigorous process - application form; phone interview then face-to-face thing; so she did well to get that far, given it's a new store opening and they will have been inundated with applications.

Sold some stuff on flea bay including the outgrown Junior golf clubs I have been trying to sell for about 2 years I think..
Got it all packed; am awaiting some payments but off to PO again tomorrow!
Have run around like a mad thing - kitchen and bathroom have been cleaned; I have also taken loads out to bin as it's bin day tomorrow. Been to mum's with a washload which my dad was going to bring here when done, but he hasn't. I'll get it tomorrow.

Think the moos are better, currently wrestling each other and ignoring my attempts to stop them.

Dinner made and eaten - by both, further evidence of health...

Toys tidied, moos dunked and hair washed. Roll on bed time... Need a cuppa...

I have decided that we have far too many towels - who on earth requires 4 bath mats, 3 bath sheets, 9 bath towels and 19 hand towels - there are only 2 of us. I'm not too sure what to do with the surplus.

Vets? Local dog/ cat rescue centre? They always seem to need lots of towels (well, the ones around here do, anyway! :D)

    Good evening :D

Mrs Moneypenny so sorry to hear your sad news. My thoughts are with you and your family x

Myself and another childminder friend had a mini sports day in the park, with a few of the parents too. A lovely time was being had by all, until rain stopped play :( We sat it out for a while, but it wasn't giving up, so we all went home. Don't you love the british summer?

The kids trashed the house when we got home, but it is all picked up now :) Hoovered through downstairs after they went home. DH cooked dinner, and cleaned up after. 2 loads of washing done, and DH hung it out - then got it in. I managed to get it back out later, and it is nearly all dry. The bits that aren't are on the airer in the summerhouse, so out of the way :)

I still haven't managed to catch up on my paperwork :( I feel so cross with myself sometimes :o I will attempt some tomorrow.
I need to put some washing on before i go to bed. We go on holiday next Thursday, and I want to get all the washing up to date (esp the stuff we want to take!). As the TD has died, I am relying on the weather

Hugs, sticks and spoons to those that need them, esp Mrs P
  • Oh MrsMP I'm so so sorry xx She fought her hardest, bless her, and although she couldn't stay, she will leave you all with much love xx Mega-coping-vibes to you all :A
